i think E.I. is best branch and all brnch given above have great scope.
but you can choose stream as per your interest.

i am taking ECE in davv indore a well repu. 18 yr old govment. collge
will thr be enuf job's 4 me 2 chosse between a govment job or a private job by 2013..

all the streams have good scope in future.all u need to do is to select a stream based on your interest and not based on how its gonna be in future.
if u have interest in a field then you can go way ahead in that stream.

Engineering all streams are having good career. I would suggest you to choose the branch of your interest and where you have some knowlede.

EEE is ever green.
Robotics and Civil is having high demand.
IT is going to re back its supremacy very rapidly.
Small example for this is the TCS statement of going to recruit 50000 people in the upcoming year.

Although there are many streams to select in engineering but i preffer you to select mechanical or electronics engineering because both streams are evergreen wit high DEMAND of employees.

By selecting any one of the above you will will get chance to study the most interesting subjects.

Remember, an electronics or mechanical engineer can be placed in IT company also.

But engineers of other streams learn about machines working/circuits building with lots of difficulties.

now a days, aeronautical engineering is having good scope. they are getting highly paid jobs but to get admission in aeronautical engineering is very difficult because very less colleges are offering this course.
after that, mechanical engineering and civil engineering are the best streams to be taken. these engineers are getting jobs both in public as well as in private sector very easily.
the only thing which you will have to do is to take admission in good engineering college by getting good marks in AIEEE or IIT JEE exam

You have to extremely skillful

There is no type of scale where we can measure which engineering course is better for future because every course as its own advantage in their fields for eg. if you are going to opt for civil engineering then you have a great future in the area of construction fields which is same for Computer science, mechanical, electronics, bio-info and so on.. so the only thing you have to see is in which area you are INTERESTED in, just find that and opt. for that course.. if you do so am sure you are going to shine in future...

According to me Mechanical Branch is the most evergreen branch in Engineering.
Other branch like Civil,Electrical are also core branch. It also depends on what is your interest at present.

1. Mechanical Engg.
2. Civil Engineering.
3. Electrical Engg.
4. ETC
5. CSE


In Mech and Civil you will get the highest paid jobs even in Electrical. Others are also very good anything you get will be good for you.

Well all have a good scope, but one thing I would like to say thatif you want a government job then you will have to complete PSU or engg.service exam of UPSC.

But Only these branches of candidates are allowed for IES and PSU:-
1.Civil
2.Mechanical
3.Electrical and Electronic
4.ECE

So,if you select any one one of these then you have many job opportunities in future.

dear friend, mechanical has always been the best stream in engineering...apart from that telecom is one of the stream which has a scope in future......chemical production.

2.but in pvt college placements wise cse>ece=it>me=eee>civil
