I have registered for computer science in KIIT.
I am expecting a rank within 3000-4000 in Comedk.
Which one is the best option in terms of exposure, placement and salary ?
Please help !

Kiit hires its own pass outs to teach students.You can ask any genuine student there.
I am also a 3 rd year student there .That's why i am saying this..

its the 7th best engg college based on placement.....microsoft, intel, accenture are some of the big names which are related to this college....its the only indian university to gain the deemed status just in 6 years...guys you should go fot it...

Ofcourse KIIT has got good placement records and one of the best faculty in India.
You should not think twice before getting yourself enrolled in this good college.
Many of my friends are studying there and they all are very happy with the college environment, faculty and good placement records

What is the highest pay package after doing b-tect from KIIT (technology stream),according to your website it is mentioned that 16 lakh offered by Microsoft followed by Intel India at Rs 8.50 lakh and Tata steel at Rs 8 lakh .Sir i want to know that was it offered to b-tech candidate or m-tech candidate.

sir, i have joined in civil branch in KIIT bhubaneswar. i have intrest in civil branch. i wanted to know if there are good chances for a girl student to get into a core company offering good packages through campus selection in kiit.

kiit is very bad university. and we can say that bcoz we are 4th yrs student of kiit. placement is very bad here. companies are not coming for placement . the college is making money. bcoz the fees is so high of this university and placement is not good than the other universities. so better to not waste ur parents money.they are taking many students . so plzzz guys be aware dnt take admission in kiit. and tell to ur frnds also that dnt come in kiit .

I am myself a final year B.tech Civil student with CGPA > 9.0 studying at KIIT University, KIIT administration is saying they cant evn guarantee us placement this year 2012-2013. So what-so-ever they are publishing on their site holds true only for the 2011-2012 batch. but as the no. of freshers in the institute have raised to 600 this year, i dunno if they cnt place current 200 students, how they are going to place 600 students in 2012-2013 1st year batch. And guys tell u what, they dont even have sufficient classrooms for us, we are having merged class rooms. Faculty in Civil is tooo short.
So think before you join this institute, because our previous Dean, Training & Placement Deptt. is now at SRM university and more than 50% students there are placed this year, while our current Dean for T&P has only succeeded to call upon only 1 civil core company till date. Our future is "?". Teachers in the deptt. says to pursue higher studies.

Since you have scored 4958 i KIITEE, you are eligible to appear for councelling.

If we talk about branch you will get, then no one can provide you better solution then Councelling, but I can guess Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical and IT for you.

Kiit is the best institute in india for engineering. Average package one can expect from here is around 14 lakhs per annum. So go for it.

You have a decent chance to get Civil, IT, Electrical and also the dual degree courses..

But probably you will not get single degree B. Tech CSE, MECH, ETC...rest all you do have a fair chance

At rank 4580.. can I get ETC, CSE, MECH? What were the closing rank for these last year. And what are the placement stats for these branch. #CORE SECTOR PLACEMENT ONLY, NOT TCS AND ACCENTURE :)
