I am not sure whether you will get any stream in NIFT or not ....Thinking for choice should be distant thing for you.

my common merit rank is 1289 and it is in waiting. but my category wise rank is 117 and it is shortlisted. (obc non cremy) do i hav a chance..?? if yes, which center i may suppose to get..??

Total of 330 seats only available for B.Des(Fashion Design) covering 11 centres across India. You have to judge where you stand.

The following are the centres where B.Des is offered:-
Bangalore, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kangra, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Rae Bareli, Shillong.

Anyway, you are sure to get a seat, since your rank is 299.
