If you wanna to study then go for higher studies like Diploma Course In Dental Assistance, Dental Hygienist Certificate Course,Dental Mechanic Certificate Course,or if you want to work then you can opt for Dental departments in hospitals, dental clinics or join any nursing homes need the services of dentists.

yeah my opinion is also same..........there is no bright future as soon as u finish your bds.After mds also many doctors are searching for the opputunities. Even if you put up clinic , there is no guarantee that u vl get good op coz there is lot of competetion .so better settle in any other sector which you are inteested in..i am discouraging ...but frankly speaking this is the real scenrio.

Current options open and are better than others include :-
Working at dentistry department in clinic,
Private practice,
Teaching professions,
Pharmaceutical companies,
Research projects,
Pharmaceutical management, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical medicine and regulatory affairs,
Post graduation and PhD,
MBA(Hospital administration),
If you need an inclined field go for IAS or IPS,


About forensic dentistry yes it of course is good option, but you need to be excellent in your field as such cases need your trust before they can refer others to you for the next project,

You will get formal appointments or consulting relationships with coroners, medical examiner offices, state and local agencies and branches of military. Reimbursement is on fee for service or contractual basis. Private consultation are possible with insurance companies and legal firms, testifications in criminal and civil courtrooms will be common. So before you opt for this field make sure you are ready

You have many optons after 12th mathemtics for your career options.you can select B.Tech in any fields or else you can go for Air force,Civil courses ike IFS,IPS,IAS and also managing posts like BBA,BBM and BCA.You can also o for Arts,Law course, Journalism etc.Dear but all these depends on your interest as well as your confidence.So prefer any one of the above one as your career option,All the Best.

i have completed my internship in last year 2011and i am practising in some other dental clinic since six month am not happy with my job and paid lesss too....
i do lotz of painting infact this was first prefeered carrier option before dentistry ,,iwas forced to take this carrier but i could never develop interest in dentistry....
i want to have a better carrier option in designing carrier so that i can do part time with dentistry....

After BDS you have 2 options .

1.Apply for MDs
or
2.Do job.

First option is best if you want to do higher studies.You can apply for MDS and do your study best and can put up your clinic.

Second option is also best .You can do job as Junior Doctor in any clinic.

So Go through first option because if you complete your graduation then you can get better job.
