I am B-tech(ECE) 3rd year student. During 2nd year I studied some Mechanical related subjects and finds very interesting. Now after my ECE I want to do some thing special in Mehanics field.What are the options available for me? Can I do M-Tech in Mechaelectronic?

now for your question about" what to do after btech?"

after btech you have many options like
1: m.tech by clearing GATE enterence exam
2: MBA by clearing CAT,MAT,ZAT
3: IES in electronics..this is highly reputated job..

onething is common in all the above field mentioned...you have to face enterance exam

so just prepare yourself for these enterance exams.
books and study maerials are available on net easily.

Better to opt for VLSI desing or Embedded System Desing they will be best for you.

Otherwise few more courses like Diploma in Advance System Design, Certificate course in digital signal would be better for job prospect in ECE.

And if you are opt for VLSI desing or Embedded System Desing then it is neccessary to persue that course from a Good institute, thats because market is floded with these degree holders and its get more tougher for getting job.

You are in the 3rd year in the b.tech. don`t worry about the nest time, because there are many option in this technical field, which are changed time to time.

the best course is the m.tech after the b.tech. you can give the GATE exam and the GATE result is also very important.

If you are a 3rd year student than you have a very good time for preparing gate

exam.By this comptetion exam you can do m.tech after engineering.M.tech is

a very good master degree and it will helps you to get a good job after

m.tech.So choose this option.It will help for your bright future.

If you have dont interest in m.tech than you can also do mba after

engineering.

These two course will surely give you the chance for a good job.

What to do after B.Tech

It is always better to go for M.Tech if you want to get a proper job in a core company with a high salary..
For best colleges in M.Tech you should clear GATE with a good rank to get into the top M.Tech colleges of India like IITs,NITs,IISc,BITS and many more..

For GATE,there is no age limit and no restrictions on the number of attempts you can make to clear the exam..

From next year onward you shall be eligible for giving the GATE exam..

You have to score above 600 in the exam to get into IIT..

if you don't wish to do M.Tech then you can try doing a course in the following streams :-

1)VLSI
2)Telecommunications
3)Electronics

choose the course in which you have interest..

Otherwise, go for MBA/ M.tech...

biomedical engineering is not a good option after B.tech

Hello friend, I think it will be better if you go for MBA. As MBA will help you take your career forward by many leaps. As you have already did your B.tech, after your MBA you can easily grab a decent job in any multi national organisation. MBA opens a whole new world of opportunities in terms of your career where you can grow faster . As you would be knowing of the saturation in the conventional sectors like HR, IT, Finance etc, so I would suggest you to go for some unconventional courses like Oil and gas Mgmt, Energy Trading, Power Mgmt etc.These programs have huge takers in the job market given that you have the potential and aptitude. Being unconventional programs these are not offered by many universities in India or Asia, there is only one university UPES, Dehradun providing them in the pan Asia region.

You mentioned that you are from ECE.
After completion of your degree you can go for training on the following things:
1. Microprocessor
2. Microcontroller
3. PLC and SCADA
4. Embedded Systems
5. Networking etc.

if u want to get in technical side..u can apply for GATE or BHEL or Steel plant exams and for non technical u can try for bank jobs and bpo jobs
