Not only in B.tech any degree you do minimum percentage required for campus placement is 65% as average in all semesters, in 12th and in 10th. Most companies ask for consistency in performance of all the above three.
My special advise is nowadays many students are talented so don't aim for just minimum percentage aim high.

many companies require only 60% marks.....but some companies which is higly reputed require 65 to 70% marks.........

basic requirment of BE for placemnet is...

60% through out graduation 12th and 10th
good communication skill
and knowledge about subject and technical knowledge is also compulsory

in all government jobs mostly i.e. for 90% only 60% is asked. because every job has its own entrance exam.but in the private companies mainly the IT branch based will ask for about 65% and no backlogs

you can assure yourself at minimum of 6.5 CGPA for a recruitment in a MNC.

But now a days companies are more focused upon the performance rather than the marks. if you can show your talent you can be selected by the company.

There is a common demand of 60% by recruiting companies.

But it does'nt means that students who get less then that are not recruited at that time your Talent plays a vital role.

If you have a 'Talent' then percentage is no bar,try bring your talent into action.

Most of the companies recruit those candidates who have secured 65% aggregate marks in their career.So you've to score a minimum of 65% mark in your B.Tech degree so that you'll be eligible to attend all the campus drive.

After completion of graduation, is there any chance for iit.

Now a days B.Tech scope has become very popular and the company willing to select best candidate from the campus, for placement minimum percentage should be 65-70% if the student want to get high package then we know that the package is considering according to the percentage obtain.
Further i hereby inform that the minimum percentage should be 65-70 percentage for campus placement in B.Tech.

Minimum percentage required in the past was 60% but now it has gone upto 65%.

VERY GOOD MNC'S require 70% for getting a good job.

its better to keep more than 70%.

I will suggest you to do M.tech after B.TECH so that you can get placed easily.

The minimum cgpa required for any engineering campus is 7.0
some of the small companies required also 6.5 above. if you get more percentage then you can apply big companies..

The eligibility criteria for maximum companies are over all 60% through out the carrier .

But some companies required 65% to &0% also in graduation.

Hello , I am currently in 5th sem. With an aggregate CPI of 6.23 !! Can you tell me whether I would be able to apply in any of the IT companies in my final year ?? I still have 5th,6th and 7th to score...What if my cpi rounds abt 6.5 ??

hey friends why we all go for marks lets forget marks and try to achieve excellence in our studies which actually really help us to get a jobs or fulfillment in our life not the materialistic things like marks .. marks are more like money its has no value in real life see how many 90 or 95% above person actually counted in the India's top 500 persons .. now i was very poor in studies during my 10 th , 12th days i even failed in 11th .....but i have passion for engineering and today i am feeling good i got placed in ACCENTURE but i have never thought of marks .........so have passion and don't worry about marks its just like ornamental beauty actual beauty is what we are having.....not the marks.....

It varies company by company.But I can say you minimum 60% marks require in B.tech for Campus selection.But I will advise you don't go with minimum percentage,go with maximum.

B.Tech stands for the Bachelor of Technology. It is a 4 year full time course which can be done by any student who has passed class 12th with more than 60% aggregate from any recognized school or state board of India.


Now since B.Tech is a graduation course, most of the students dream and desire to work in one of the big top MNC's.

To start with, some of the best and most reputated MNC's which are known for taking high number of intakes per year are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, Accenture, Cognizant, CTS, Tech Mahindra, etc.


The Basic Eligibility Criteria's to apply for any of these companies are usually common unless they change and impose new criteria's. They are :


1. You should be a minimum graduate in B.E/B.Tech from any recognized college or university with at least 60% aggregate in it.


2. You should not have any standing arrears or backlogs at the time of the placements.


3. There should not be more than 2 years gap in the academic career of yours. Some even filter this criteria even more tightening it down by just 1 year academic gap.


NOTE : If you have any gaps, you must hold a very valid reason for it. They may as you in the interview.

Eligibility criteria varies from company to company.As most of the companies like wipro has eligibility criteria: 50% marks in 10th,12th and 60% marks in latest graduation whereas that of TCS is 60% in all.
So in nutshell you must have marks atleast 60% in 12th,10th and latest graduation or btech.
