hi,i am pursuing BE(cse) 7th sem i have an aggregate of 63% i am confused whether the companies ask for aggregate 60% or 60% in all semesters ,because my percentage in 6th sem is below 60%(58.78%)

the companies which are coming for campus selection want at least 60%, or more than that..

so, if u want to appear in all the campus placement then u must have at least above 70% throughout ur career..

so, my suggestion is to study carefully..

because if u don't have good marks then u will not be shortlisted..

The minimum percentage that is required varies from college to college and the companies that comes for campus selection. Most colleges have 60% as a standard.
Also it is good to maintain a healthy percentage throughout to increase your chances.

As you belong from core branch so there is no need of worry about the % of marks of

BTech. I want to tell you that most of the core company has criteria to pass The BTech

with the marks 60% in aggregate.

Some reputed company like Jindal, Tata motors consider the marks of 10th and 12th

also.TO get chance in these companies you must have marks above 60% in 10th and

12th.

Most of the companies coming for campus placement requires a first division i,.e. 60% marks through out candidates educational life. So, you need to secure at least 60% in Btech.

But even if you have scored less percentage of maarks don't worry there are companies which require less than 60% (mostly 50% or 55%) as a cut off for appearing in campus
recruitment.

You should go through the minimum educational requirement of companies coming for campus placement & ensure that you fulfil all the criteria

telling this , that i never had or have back logs until and i secured 72% in final year until 4-1sem .(ph.n.9000426041) . can any one dare to get me .

In this competitive environment ,it is always beneficial to secure better marks. don't see just the minimum requirement but try to secure as much as you can. the minimum percentage for campusing is 65%. however some companies requires atleast 70%.

which is equivalent to 70%.

you will not be eligible as the criteria most of the companies follow is 60% in 10th, 12th and in degree till the selection time and in the final degree.

You will not be eligible. I suggest you to prepare for some other job like in govt sector that is much better these days.

Hi iam studying 3rd year(cse) and my aggregate is 80% but in first sem i failed in caed subject but i cleared soon after is this going to affect my placement

According to cgpa requirement it is 5.5 and various PSUs have 60% as their requirement.

For Campus interview or any exam, your percentage should be minimum 50 % in B.Tech or any course.

But at the time of interview, Company or industry will decide the entry criteria.

At campus interviw, if you fulfil the company criteria then you will get chance and in interview presence of mind & Technical Knowledge about your course is very important.

So prepare your self for Campus interviw or any other government / private exam.

hello friend...

As you are not in college now, there is no possibility that you can apply for campus placements, but you can apply for Off-campus placements which happens in and around your city just check out what all companies doing off-campus placement near your place and go for it.. some companies even wont allow 2yr gap after B.Tech it depends upon which year you passed out of college... if you are passed out in 2010 sure you can apply but if its 2009 some companies wont allow that.... hope this info. helps... Am sorry, you wont be able to sit in most of the top MNC companies interview because you have 53 % in 12th, the eligibility criteria for most of the top MNC in 60 % above in 10th, 12th and B.E/B.Tech, but you dont have to worry because there are many small companies with good pay provide jobs based on your skill sets but not with marks, so try to join in those companies get some good experience and then jump into big companies where they wont ask marks then but your experience..

Most of the companies are going to recruit the B.Tech graduates who are career 60 candidates.

Career 60 in the sense candidates who have secured a minimum of 60% through out their career. i.e. in 10th, 10+2 and in graduation too.

This will be the eligibility criteria for B.Tech graduates to appear in the selection process.

For to be succeed in the campus interviews, one should have good communication skills an subject knowledge too.

After B.Tech my suggestion is to go for further studies like M.Tech and MBA

One should have triple six in academic records means one should atleast secured 60% in B-Tech, 10+2 and 10th.

Companies usually take Students who has 60% through out the academic Life i.e From 10th till Final Year Graduation.

basically 60% is the Minimum percentage and Criteria for Eligibility if some Guy or Girl Go through Walk in's.

But if campus Recruitment is there in your College then No need to worry you can Go for companies with No criteria or the criteria which suits you the Most.
