Re: Which engineering branch is best?
Dear
Well, in my view it totally depends on your interest... For example:- 1.Computer Science & Engineering If you want to do something new in computer, if you always experiment with your computer, you are strong enough in mathematics and logic making skills then go for this branch. 2.Electrical & Electronics If you are u interested in sensors & transistor then go for this. 3.Mechanical & production Engineering If you are intersted in bike and cars designing, if you like to use your engineering skills for a common man life then choose this branch. This branch require a real hard work. This is called evergreen branch ,now a days there are a lot of job opportunities and money in this sector. If you have talent and you are ready to work hard, then better go for this branch.. 4. Civil Engineering If you are interested in building making, construction, then you may go in this branch...... If you are hardworking and talented then there are a lot of opportunities in this sector. Thankyou Aishwarya Mehrotra |

Re: Which engineering branch is best?
You are an Electronics and Communication Engineering graduate its very nice.the scope for a ECE student in software industry is very large. You should study the concepts of the language thoroughly and take example codes and practice in computer. If required the company will give you necessary training , that is why the software companies would give training and .NET is not so difficult to learn for an ECE student because you already have some c and c++ knowledge then you will feel compatible completely with this language .you can make practice for it regularly from various books You can easily learn this subjects.by your efforts and hard work you can easily achieve your aim.
Good luck. |

Re: Which engineering branch is best?
If I am the student or parent and need to select an engineering course, my order of preference will be.
1. Computer Science and Engineering 2. Information Technology 3. Electronics and Communication Engineering 4. Electrical Engineering 5. Mechanical Engineering 6. Civil Engineering Once I am done with admission in any course, I will concentrate and work hard to be best in that course. Best in any field is always rare and respected. So I suggest all of you to work hard and live to the dreams of you parents and make them proud. |

Well..73% is not a good sign when you are planning to get into an engineering course..
but..the trend these days..may well have forced you to take this decision.. i would suggest you to take IT or Electronics..because..all the other branches have relatively higher difficulty levels.. |

The best engineering branch.
Dear friend,
It is better that you choose Civil Engineering branch. Most places in india is in under constraction and more reputed construction company want Civil Engineers by give huge salary. In other way all engineers are depend on civil engineers. You fill proud as a civil engineer after pass out. Civil Engineer has also out income by planing, surveying of buildings or road. |

My friends there are many branch in Engineering and there is problem is come when we passed 12th to choose the Branch. There are many Engineer in India. You should choose the field that are not chosen by the students now. you should choose the Chemical engineering and Civil Engineering. There is best future in these branch of Engineering.
You can also choose Computer Science and Electronics if you like this branches. In these fields you can go in TCS, Infosys, Persistant and many more IT sector Companies. Electronics and Communication branch students can go in electronics field like BHEL, BSNL, AIRTEL, NTCP and many more companies also. |

Every branch of engineering have a respect to bright and secure future. So, its depends on your interest in that study and your capability. So, please love to study, surely you can get bright and secure future. But according to me, traditional and conventional branches like Electrical, Mechanical and Civil are most secure branches in now a days..... |

All the branches are good and have scope, you have to decide that in which branch you can perform best.I can understand that you are confused this huge branches, but to get rid of confusion the only way is that a you must analyse your interests and goal.Once you decided interest then you will be able to choose any branch easily. At present electronics stream is having a bright scope in terms of both research and jobs.so you can opt for ece.

Re: Which engineering branch is best?
I think ECE or mechanical would good branch for future prospects , but try to focus yourself. First thinking about the branches which branch you would like and which branch you can good grip. So you selected good branch for yourself. If you are in circuites, wires, transformers etc then you go for electrical branch or you are good in computers you choose the computer science.
All the best. |

Re: Which engineering branch is best?
hi
you are asking that which engineering branch is best let me tell you that every engineering is best it is based upon your interest that in which field you want to do engineer but there are top engineering branches are: 1.Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering - This engineering course deals with the design, creation and operation of machines related to flying planes, missiles, rockets, spacecrafts etc. Aerodynamics, avionics, propulsion, acoustics are subjects that are taught under this course. 2.Agricultural Engineering This branch of engineering focuses on the design and operation of tools, implements and machines that are used in the practice of agriculture. 3.Computer Engineering This engineering stream teaches about the design, development, manufacture and maintenance of computer components. 4.Electronic and Electrical Engineering This engineering course includes research, development, design, creation and maintenance of a diverse set of objects ranging from global Positioning Systems to semi-conductor chips used in mobile phones. 5.Automobile Engineering This stream of engineering studies deals with the design, creation, manufacture and operation of machines relevant to automobiles ranging from the ubiquitous motorcycle to buses and trucks. Civil Engineering This engineering course teaches about the design, development and construction of bridges, dams, metro, railroad systems etc. 6.Industrial Engineering This branch of engineering studies teaches how to make the machines and people work in tandem with each other so that maximum productivity is derived. 7.Instrumentation Engineering This engineering stream teaches about design, manufacture and maintenance of instruments and instrument units. 8.Manufacturing Engineering A Manufacturing Engineer is taught how to manufacture things be it structures, machinery, electronics, medical devices, automobile parts, textiles and clothing, or household products or toys or cans and bottles any thing and everything that can be manufactured. 9.Marine Engineering Under this engineering course, one gets to learn the designing, construction and management of ships and other naval vehicles. 9.Mechanical Engineering This engineering branch is concerned with the design, construction, and operation of power plants, engines, and machines. It deals mostly with things that move. 10.Metallurgical Engineering This stream of engineering studies deals with metals basically the research, development and manufacture of new metal alloys for wide applications across industries. 11.Mining Engineering - This engineering stream deals with mines and minerals. The mining equipment is developed and manufactured by mining engineers. Besides this, there are also an array of other engineering courses which one can specialize in like ceramic engineering, textile engineering, nuclear engineering the list can go on and on. thank you |

First of all try to choose the branch in which u are really interested . If u study in that dept with real zeal and interest in that field , the career opportunities will be amazing irrespective of the dept .
Anyway in the present trend Mechanical is the best n evergreen branch in which career opportunities will be more both in the private and public sector . The main point is for Mechanical Engineering Core jobs are very more as compared with any other branch and it is always evergreen . So frn I suggest you Mechanical Field if you are interested . |
