Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
Hi!
All the conventional branches of engineering like mechanical, civil, electrical, IT, EC, etc. offers good job prospects for deserving candidates. If you are a expert in your field you will get the best package in the industry. Some new branches of engineering like nano biotechnology, aerospace engineering, robotics etc. also promises bright future. So, it is up to you to choose the branch of engineering in which you are interested |

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
good.
every branch is good.depending on interest, the students are taking branch which is suitable to them.mainly in engineering branches, many students try to take the branch ECE.if are interested in software field, you may select IT or CSE branches. and if you are intersted in electrical field,EEE and ECE branches are suitable to you. so think once that which branch is suitalble to you depending on your interest. all the best.and select any one of the branches. these are best to you.because you complete 12th in MPC. |

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
Dear friend
Its really impossible to answer you question. You passed your 12th stream doesn't distinguish you. All the engineering students do the same. The selection of a branch should be done by asking that 'I am interested in some particular branch, is it okay to opt for it?' So, first think about your choice and then choose the trade. If you don't have interest in a particular branch then choose a core branch like; Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Electrical. Also if you don't find your interest in technology field then you can opt for Economics honors from a good college. I would like to see your further query because both of your query and my advice are bit incomplete. Thank You |

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
Engineering Most in Demand
From my point of view Today "Civil Engineering" sector is most in demand and in coming Days it will remain also. Apart from Civil, At the time of Recession, where Millions of people lost there job all over world. Two uneffedted Sectors were Real Estate/Construction and Helth care. Civil Engineering is a sector which will never lost its charm weather it is India or Foreign. Yeah recently at the time of economic breakdown in Dubai has witnessed few lost of jobs in this sector but its a diiferent matter and the rest of the world was not effected so. Increasing Enviromental Awareness, growing Infrastucture investment, Opening of Metros are some of major factors which is witnessing demand of skilled Civil Engineers. Today if you will go for Admission into Civil Engineering through Management Quota, then you will find Civil being the most costlier while the Electrical being second. Similarly if we want to go through Cutoff of any Entrance then also it will be typical to get seat with low cutoffs. Civil Engineering is a sector which promisses Handsome pay and growth prospect only after having handful of experiance. I mean at starting freshers have to struggle for handsome pay, but it will become more prosperous after acquireing experiance. part from Civil Electronics and Communication being 3rd while Electrical being in second slot. ECE has witnessing immense growth, but it has alwso being analysed that t will get slightly lowered, as soon as CSE and IT will cath the market. But ECE will remain promissing till coming few years. Where as Electrical is not witnessing much growth but in future it will just explore the whole Engineering sector. Experts says that Nuclear Aggrement will India and power Electrical Sector till 2020. Regards ~Faiyaz~ |

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
Hi,
The word MORE literally depends on your performance and not the branch you have taken,. Yes. Chemical Engineering is demanding but More demanding can be made by you out of your determination and hard work. There are many Companies like Relience, ONGC, bharat and also many other pharmaceutical firms are greatly looking for Chemical Engineer. The Remuneration is also considerably decent. The main thing is job safety and assurance. So, Yes, Chemical engineering is demanding in your words. Good Luck. |

Its bit tough to suggest you with this query, as you are interested in both streams and both streams are good. It is better if you go for Dual Specilisation for both these courses. There are many Universities that offer Dual Specialisation. If you are not landing up there, then I can opine that, If you want to have a overall touch in all mechanical related functionalities, then I would suggest you to go for Mechanical Engineering. If you are specially interested in Aeronautics, Then Obviously, Aeronautical Engineering. No other suggestions can be given in this regard as both courses are rewarding. Good Luck. |

Hi, Hey, No need of any confusions. You have taken one of the best and standard going branches. There is no recession for these branches like EEE,Mech, Civil etc. You obviously have job safety and assurance in this branch. Though the remuneration is somewhat low in the beginning, You will have a awesome future and standard income in these branches once you gain experience. This branch has less competition as it is a bit tough. But, Not so tough to rip beautiful future. Good Luck. |

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
Hi,
Normally there is a mind set that Computer Engineers are high paid. To an instance, it is true. But considering the long run, Both has its fortunes. Normally during recessions, IT will face some tough time. But, thats not literally the case with mechanical. It gives you good pay, Job security and assurance. Never said, CSE is bad either. But, mechanical is considered a standard branch. Good Luck. |

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
Hi Guys,
No branches loses its value over time. It actually Fluctuates. Considering the recent recessions and backfalls, There remains a mild chaos that which branch is best. To my opinion, you cannot literally identify which branch is good. But, there are some branches that never fluctuates more. To be frank, remains standard. They are, in their order of standard, Mechanical(Auto, Aero included) Civil Electronics Communications etc. Recent recession had less effect in these fields considering others. Good Luck. |

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
There are lots of engineering coarses available for the students, here is the explanation of some of them :
1.Computer science engineering ,it is the study of the computer systems. 2.Electronics engineering,is an engineering discipline which is used to develop components, devices, systems, or equipment..... 3.Mechanical engineering is a discipline of engineering that applies the principles of physics ............ 4.Electrical engineering is a field of engineering that generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. and lots more like this... so chose in which you find interest and do not think that which is in demand all the best... |

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
Hi,
first of all make sure you want to be an engineer..then what kind? you want to work hard or work smart?? work smart not hard..if you are partly confident with math and concepts then, make it confident..if you like circuits take eee, if you like communications say, satellite or normal phone type or any type then take ece..if you are interested in computing..code generation..say, how games, web-sites are developed..take cse but make sure you ll be able to understand C and c++..if you cannot its waste of taking cse..have fun.improve your basics and build them..take mech..that gives you time to build yourself..EIE and if mechatroics is there..those are really good but only if you understand it clearly.. |

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
Hi,
Dear friend, the best demanding branches among all are the Mechanical and Civil. since both of them are having increasing posts in Govt. and public sector other then them for civil the private construction companies are the best options and for mechanical there are the demands in gulf counteries as well as in india for many reputed manufacturing companies. So i think these two would be the best option for you. "Best of Luck". |

hi friend. This is G.srilaxmi. i think the Civil branch has the highest demand.Civil engineering is good during a recession because many civil engineers do private sector and public sector work. When one area is down the other may help you out.

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
If economy has to sustain, Civil engineering infrastructures like airports, metros, bridges are must. they generate income sources. Also, Power plants, industrial and commercial buildings etc. But initial years are tough with lesser pay. once domain expertise is gained, pay is unimaginable. any corporate will pay hefty sum. In civil engineering focus shifts towards management in longer run, even in engineering. So MBA/Management diploma with basic civil engg with specialisation is a solid foundation and investment for your long term prospective career.

Why did you want to do so is not understandable to me, as you haven't mentioned any specific reason for it. Suddenly changing the field like that what you are asking for it not a good decision. Well it is possible but not advisiable..........! If your main intension is for working in mainly software jobs like that of CS and IT engineers then its not possible. Yeah you can switch to related jobs, like- IT Outsourcing, BPO etc. But if you able to acquire some degree or diplomas like- MBA (IT/system), MCA, Software Engineering from NIIT, Brainware, Aptech etc. then you can expect exact software jobs. And the better thing is to opt for Higher education if you want to explore your career in IT and Software. Best of Luck |

according to me today's scope is for mechanical engineering and then electronics
first of all u decide in which field you want to move in it doesn't matter what course you choose ... it matters how much depth in knowledge you pursue!! |

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
Mr Kaur...
You seem to be very talanted. However, when you have good scorings and you have also worked very hard for AIEEE its good because you have many opportunities but take care whether it is in money matters or fame matter choose ur course wisely and the course you are interested in. You may choose the course which give a high paycheck like electronics, electrical, nano technology but be careful even if you work hard in the ones you are not interested in its like waste for you like candidates. Whatever, courses like Communication and networking, telecommunication are in very much demand and at its peak. you'll get a gud paycheck and even great opportunities in this field. Electronics and Electrical are even second in line... and choose wisely once again... Compitation has already started and is still going on. You can also go for Marine engineering which has a very very high demand but it is a tough job if you are willing then no one can stop you. There are many colleges in India. MANET in Pune... The Indian Navy Bombay. If you r really interested in these careers then you'll get high paycheck as well as fame. Best of luck |

need equally for any nation to grow properly so may be demand goes up or high.....for IT but always one should do the field of his interest not the field of market.. |

Re: Which engineering has highest demand right now?
In the present scenario you can opt for electrical/mechanical stream .But by the time you complete your engineering IT sector will be back in form .
The problem with the software field is that your job is not fixed but it offers a handy salary. The subjects in EEE are hard enough but scoring if you have grip in the subject.you can apply for jobs in BHEL/HAL/steelplants if you complete your B.TECH from mech/eee. So, i suggest you to opt EEE/MECH. all the best |
