sir i want to know the selection procedure of R&AW other than civil services .Is there any chance for the candidate in R&AW if he does not appear for the civil services?

For all those who would like to join R&AW, lemme say you something
No one is recruiting anyone into R&AW by an interview or something,,,,,
They will find you if they really need you.
So till then get a job earn some and make your wife and kid happy.

why do u want to join this service ? what is so special in it ? Are all of you bored from your normal life ? what would you like to prefer spending decades behind the bars in enemy countries prisons ? or being torture till the end ? disowned, un acceptable, unidentified. no one will care whether you r alive or dead ? In real life volunteers r nothing nobody recognize them. If u wanna waste ur normal life go ahead. this is for orphans, disowned, expendables, unwanted, wasteful, useless ppl.

Im sure a job in R A W is in great demand. Its a job everyone would love to do and its a really good way of expressing patriotism. Since it invloves national security, the recruitment process should also be tough and only the best of the best should work there. I think all hardcore patriots should work there, but friends please do keep in mind that its not the only way to express patriotism. The country has a lot of issues to deal with right now. It is time for a revolution, against corruption, inflation, black marketing and a lot of other issues. India was concurred by the British only because India was divided and all the rulers could never stay and fight for a common cause. We should learn from our past mistakes. I hope the country stays togerther forever.

--Guys i posted this only coz i feel that people who are real patriots would love to work for the country.

Baby if you wants join as an officer in RAW you must read employment news regularly. No fixed calling or recruitment for RAW organisation, RAW is familarly called as SSB, (Sepecial Security Bureau) in the inteligence community. For class I Level Officers in RAW you have to apply for CPO's Assistant Commandant and Deputy Commandant Examinations, wherein officers who are equivalent to Assistant Commandants are recruited, this procedure has been adopted by BJP led government before their regime these officer were selected through Cabinet Ministry recruitment cell. Till date lower level officers are recruited such as field organiser through cabinet ministry recruitment only. So carefully apply for such post.

First of all it is not raw it is R & aw(research and analysisi wing).

Joining R & AW is not an easy task,it is more difficult then crunching the 'iron grams'.

For joining it first of all candidate must have to qualify civil service exams (all stages) only the candidate's who top the IAS exam are offered to appear for exam for R & AW,then the qualified candidates are selected as an agent of R & AW for the service of 2 to 5 years which is extendable for upto 9 years maximum depending upon candidates capabilities.

for this it require minimum graduation from a recognized university.after graduation you can join
upsc.you can go for IAS exam.the age should be 21 years.

breaking the civil exams doesn't mean you are too sharp to serve the national intelligence.you must know how the enemy can possibly think .and you don't learn it from reading civil service books do you!!that's why our nation has been hit again and again.we do need a revolutionary change in the systems.
