Intermediate (10+2)

There is a golden opportunity for young aspirants having +2 (Science) qualification with Physics and Maths to join as officer in Indian Air Force.

The aspirant can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout India.

Yes you can join the Indian Air Force after your 10th standard. But you will not be able to join as an Officer in the IAF. You can only join as ground duty officers. The grades of these posts are names as GRADE X & Y. You will be able to join the IAF as an officer after your graduation. Another option is after +2, clear the UPSc exam and then joining the National Defence Academy.

No, you are not eligible to apply for Indian Air Force after completion of your 10th class. The minimum qualification is 12th class in PCM from a recognized university.

First you can do 12th class after you can apply for NDA Examination.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.NDA Examination are conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year i.e., NDA I and NDA II.

NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army

The Eligibility Criteria:

** The candidate must have to pass 12th class from a recognized university.

** And the final year of 12th class students also to apply for this NDA Examination.

** There is no any percentage restriction in 12th class.

** The age limit in between 16.5 to 19 years. There is no an upper age criteria.

** The candidate must be male person & unmarried and medically fit.

Eligibilit 50% marks 10th class Age: between 19 ½ and 22 years and obc/sc/ st candidate have age relaxation up to 5 years, the Selection is based on body strength, written exam and medical tests after completion of your 10+2 you are eligible for indian airforce exam.

I am sorry t say that you are not eligible for Indian Air force after passing 10th.
If you want to join Indian Air force then you have to pass 12th class with Physics and maths stream...

This is the information i have to the ebst of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

You can join, but you will not be able to make the most of it by joining as a lower category soldier.

So I would like to suggest you to first complete your 12th, then apply for NDA and join air force as a pilot. Now that is called real air force soldier.

You should not hurry that much and wait if you are going for graduation then you will find more better options as Aeronautical Engineer.

So its in your hands now what you want to be.

Geometry
Menstruations
Probability
General ability test- this is termed as paper-2 which is of 600 marks.

The paper will consist of questions from different topics such as:-

You can join Indian Army after passing 10th at the following ranks.
Soldier (General Duty),
Soldier Technical,
Soldier (Clerk/Store Keeper) and
Soldier (Nursing Assistant)

Vacancies for the above posts are notified by the nearest
Zonal/Branch Recruiting Office (ZRO/BRO).

The notification is published in Employment News and National dailies.

The examination is conducted in four parts.
Part-I is compulsory for all entries and part II, III and IV
are obligatory for Soldier (Technical), Soldier (Clerk/Store Keeper)
and Soldier (Nursing Assistant) ranks.


INDIAN AIR FORCE.
As you are a 10th pass, firstly pursue the +2 course taking Science stream with Mathematics. The eligibility criterion to apply for the IAF is a pass in the intermediate course in Science disciplines. Once you complete the course, you can appear for the NDA examination. You have to pass the NDA test for getting admission in the defense academy of your preferred wing. There, you can start up the preparations to become a Pilot. You should also clear the PPL test for getting Private Pilot License. If you fail in the Pilot Aptitude Battery Test, you may not be eligible to appear for the GDPI. If so, you will be considered ineligible in Air force.
U CAN ALSO APPLY FOR STORE KEEPER OR ANY GROUND DUTY IN AIR FORCE BUT IF U WANT TO JOIN AS AN OFFICER THEN DO +2 WITH PCM.

INDIAN NAVY
Only posts like- Cook, Steward, Barber etc. are there for 10th pass. Even for those post only 10th is not enough, additional qualifications like- Diploma for cook etc. are required.

Now, secondly you can join Indian Navy Musical Band. But thats also not the solution for your Navy drems.

So, better first complete your 12th with having subject combination of Physcis, Chemistry and MAthematics with at least 60% aggregate. Then plethora of oppurtunities will be there for you like-

NDA (National Defenc Academy)
TES (Technical Entry Scheme)

NDA: is conducted by UPSC (http://upsc.gov.in) twice every year probably in the months of april and september, notification for which are announced in employment news.Candidate you had passed class 12 (Any subject) can appear for Army wing of NDA, Candidate you had passed/appeared class 12 (PCM) with at least 60% aggregate can appear for NAvy & AIrforce wings.

Age limit- 16 years- 19 1/2 years.

TES: Candidates who have passed class 12 PCM with at least 70% aggregate can find direct entry to defence after cracking a small entrance conducted by Defence service itself.Notifaca are announced in employment news.

Age Limit: 17 years- 19 1/2 years.

NOTE. IN NDA AGE IS CONSIDER AS ONE YEAR ADVANCE.

GOOD !!!! you are chosing Air force as your career. It is a good choice. But for writing this exam you have to pass your 12th exam and not less than 19 years of age on the application time.

Hope you are not married as the requirement says that you should be single with 60% in PCM.And everything is okay if you are fit. You can join, but you will not be able to make the most of it by joining as a lower category soldier.

Its a very good decision taken by you to join Indian Air Force.
But you cant join it just after passing 10th standard.

You have to complete 12th boards and then you can appear
in the NDA entrance exam. After clearing this exam you will be
called for SSB(Service Selection Board) where you will be judged
mentally, physically and medically.

You can also join Indian Airforce after completing your graduation.
After graduation give the exam of CDS and AFCAT.

Requirements: 60% Aggregate in 10th and 12th.
Age limit: 16.5 to 19 yrs.
