answer will be the " we are lift up the low grades students to high." but for your kind information no such thing is done in this university. if you can give the 5 reason why to admission i can give 50 why to not. because i am the student of this great university.

not average but it iz very bad university. i m also student of LPU.
some reasons are as-
1. lack of faculties
2. lack of department.
3. good faculties never stay here but local faculties stayed.
4. faculties always busy to complete the syllabus the did not know what the student will do next.
5. how IITans faculty will manage department?but it iz work of management student or senor faculties.
5. security always touch red students.means( student ko agar apni gand marwani ho to yahan ayee.)
6.In session 2008-2010 leaked of paper.
7. lack of experienced & senior faculties.
8. no freedom of faculties to how they want to teach the student.
9. it iz most expensive university.
10.all advetisment of lpu is facke.
11.only infra structure is good.( agar koi student galti se campus ke andar aajaye to admission lpu me he le cahe baap ganja kyun na jayee.)
12.after shortaning the holy day lpu cant bacom a good university.
13. if lpu has has very wide campus,lots of space and ifra structure then why they change the every class and each lecturer even for sam claas for same staff.
14 it iz nothing but time losser university if any body wan to losse their time them most welcom.
15. mangment system is very bad.
16. lpu managment always trouble for student.
17. dean say if u got back log in any paper u again fillup backlog form but lpu didn't chnage the faculty.
18.lpu has nothing but expose.

21.lpu never care about religious holy day.

if i want to continue abot lpu you will not have time for it so i think it iz enough... for next coming student...

Yes of course dear, LPU is a good University to study Engineering.

LPU have excellent Faculty, workshops for engineering, good infrastucture, Good hostel accomidations etc.


Besides these LPU also offers scholarship, starting from 70% scoreers at +2.

But it has to be noted that beside having every facility and such big university LPU fails to provide good placement to there engineers, placement there is average one.

If you are performing well in your Engineering then you will be provided placement no doubt but last year I think the highest placement was of 4.5 Lacs per annum.

So, if you known one have anyother good option then LPU then he/she can go for it, otherwise LPU will also be fine because the time when he will be able to complete his/her engineering then at that time placement prospect will get better.

lpu is a very good university in terms of infrastucture bt it take addmission upto their neck in every branch ...n provides very poor placement...n package.....so i will suggest to go 4 better college than college if possible or else it can be opted.

lpu is a good university.............it has lack of experiencer butin aa other manner lpu is too good..............lab facility.......classrooms are better............earlier i said here faculties r not so experienced .............some r frm iit some r frm other ,over all it is good......but u hav scored much better so go 4 other option

I'm from Andhra Pradesh state and I may not good rank in AIEEE. I might get some decent rank[5000] in state test 'EAMCET'.
my parents are not interested in lovely professional university Jalandhar, but I like this college.
Here is my parents suggestion:
with my state test EAMCET rank,Join engineering in some college from Hyderabad, take ECE branch,
Join some certificate courses @Hyderbad parallel with 4 year engineering and the courses are like VLSI,EMBDED or NETWORKING and write GRE,TOEFL also
spend money on those areas.. then I can be in good position.
Instead of spending money on LPU university for my engineering, spend the money for other courses.
what do you guys suggest?

please never take admission in this university all data presented of placements are fake and they are not even 2% and their will be 1000+ students in one branch of same session so think yourself how 1000 students of ece will be placed........................................dont go before infrastructure it is a bitter sweet under a beautiful wrapper.

What is average package for b.tech at lpu

hello friends, LPU is not good university . In this university direct admission is there , test are just formality. Teaching , hostel facilities are good but placement zero in this university . No core company comes only fraud companies come in this university and all are marketing. So don't go in this university .go for other best Universities. This is my personal experience.

I think lovely professional university is not a good university because the management of the university is not good, faculties are also not good that is why toppers are not feeling good in this university. Teachers have no knowledge about teaching, In almost cases it came to our knowledge that faculties believes in to give marks to fail the students for further collecting the fees from students for re entrance in the examination after putting B. Management is interested in earning the money for constructing the buildings in the campus. only buildings are very good but study is not good. management is playing with the future of the students. I advise to Mr. Vice Chancellor of the university to appoint good faculties for better education of the students so that students may not attempt for suicide after obtaining marks as they hopes and deserves for about their result.

dont take admission in any branch of lpu or ur lyf will be spoild forever there is no placement in lpu particularily in ece. Believe it i am a ece b.tech passout and more than 1600 students from my batch are without any placement only from ece. The rest u can undrstand.

Don't go to LPU if u want to do Engineering. LPU is good only for management. The course covered is not upto the mark... MNCs like Infosys, Accenture, L&T, Samsung , Syntel and many more have blacklisted LPU from its placements. U may face a great crowd, a good infrastructure and a regular visit of celebrities in the campus but as per the study evaluation, its not upto the mark........

I did B.Tech from LPU and a rush of 5000 students passed with me but the total placements of that batch was just 150-200..... what about rest 4800??????

Its better if you choose some other private University where a batch comprises of 60-120 student...

LPU is the worst university of the world not only for students but also for faculty. I came to know some facts about LPU by one of my friend who is teaching faculty at LPU that they just deposit their academic certificates and also cut 15% salary as security so that they could not move anywhere without paying their two month salary back. Besides they keep their faculties overloaded with the courses. If u r a master in some course u will not be given the same course to teach. So u can imagine if some body is teaching the subject which he/she have not studied what will be the quality of teaching.They are only doing their business and are not concerned about teaching quality and future of the students at all. It is just harassment of students and faculty thre nothing else.
So it is better not to think about LPU while taking admissions.

Though Lovely professional university is a new university but they have received a good response from the students as well as from the recruiters. They offer a wide range of courses to the student. Admission are done through various entrance exam and they do provide scholarships to the student having good academic record.

There placement records are also awesome as they placed almost 72% percent of the student of their first batch. It is a very good placement record of a college who is new in the market. They provide awesome facilities to the student, They have a very good and high tech campus surrounded by lush green lawns.

If your friend has taken admission here then he is on the right track so do not worry at all and rest of things depend upon how your friend perform there.

in india one of the biggest faltu and one of the biggest fraud university is LPU i join this college on 12 of july and i quit that on 3 of aug. just because of i dont want to spoil my life and career so i suggest u guys please don't go there there are only good building but inside that there are bad future....

this is deepak i join LPU on 15 of july and my classes starts on 5 of aug i went to cllg and first 4-5 days what i observe LPU is one of the biggest FRAUD college in india if u want to spoil your career and spoil your life only in that case u join this college i quit that cllg on 10 of aug only.
and what i suggest u please guys think 10 time before join this cllg because its not only matter of money its matter of life also.
after quit LPU i prepair my self and i give IIT and now i m in IIT delhi so please guys its not only a suggetion its my request don't go there.

SORRY FOR LATE REPLY BUT I JUST WANT TO SHARE MY VIEWS ABOUT THIS QUESTION:
i am currently studying in LPU doing my engineering .
ABOUT TEACHERS: i must say they have best faculty.
INFRASTRUCTURE: awesome infrastructure.
CROWD: like every other university one can find every type of crowd here.
PLACEMENTS: i agree placements are not quite high but if u are having a good pointer you will get a placement 4 sure. one cannot expect placements with low grades.
PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE: the practical knowledge offered here is far better than any other university here.
i must say a good student will groom here

LPU is the worst university. Its placement is zero. Any student can take admission there,no criteria needed. Need is only money. I took admission in lpu,but left it after a month.

hello every1..... I m student f LPU, i neither favor nor oppose LPU, i ll only tell u truth. I got admission last year for some engineering course but tdy i realise dat it was worst decision in ma lyf. lPU indeed has tall buildings , good infrastructure and IIT level syllabus but alas a poor faculty without which high tech buildings n syllabus are useless. we had a teacher who is passout from NIT allahabad but he is absolutely zero, he taught us nothing, he doesnt hav basic knowledge regarding d subject, he was teaching us. Everytym i approached to him with a problem but everytym i was dissapointed by his saying ''no no u do urself only, it is not ma headache''. Another teacher passout from IIIT ALLAHABAD, in his first intro, he said '' i cant teach u, u hav to study urself only, i dont lyk teaching'' n same happened. By God he has taught us nothing through out the semester. I wonder hw they qualified mtech from prestigious institutes like IIIT n NITs. In short i m looking to leave MR LOVELY in june. One more thing, totally unfair evaluation here. I was deducted 25 marks in a subject for no reason. I m totally dissatisfied wd dis university.

Every member in this forum who is praising LPU, does not have valid reasons.

Getting certifications / rankings / being A or whatever has nothing to do with the actual scenario within the university. It is all a show-off and advertising stunt being repeated every year during admission time (May to August).

I, being a former student of LPU, strongly 'DO NOT RECOMMEND' LPU to the new student. Why ? Becoz:-

1. Check their website, especially Placements section. Except companies' logo, what did you find out ? Nothing. Any details or brief regarding the packages offered or job-profiles to previous batches ? Any details about who is in their placement department ? I think not.

2. Browse the LPU official website and internet about this univ. like placement pattern, activities etc. You will find that music band came to college, film-stars came and rocked LPU, LPU won nth award in some fest etc. but you'll not find statements like... Frequent job fairs in LPU or Some good brands came to LPU etc. I mean that this univ. is more into Extra-curricular (i.e. What students want !) than Placements (i.e. What students actually need !).

Still thinking of going to LPU !!! Ok, keep on reading below:-

3. (Take a tour to visit LPU) Meet their main placement department, and discuss what they have for you ? What is their strategy for placing the students ? My experience was :-

a. They didn't have any plans of placing the students in BRANDS (tier-1 or tier-2 companies), atleast with the packages of 2.4 lpa or even 2.0 lpa.
b. Very very uncooperative placement department. They claim the corporate experience of 12 years or more, but once you try (yes even try !!) to talk to them, they show you that you are just a kid and we know what we are doing. Try yourself also !!! Although the departmental placement faculty is supportive, but they dont bring companies to campus ,the main department does.
c. Absolutely no focus and support on industrial training by any of the faculty.

4. Talk to the students there !!! especially the ones in their final semesters of Grad. or PG. You will get enough reasons to make decision.

5. About Faculty !!! My word is Immature !! coz they are more into completing the syllabus than making students understand what is the actual thing and its implications. In today's modern education era, teaching is done through Projectors and PPT slides, another biggest drawback when comes to actual learning only if not properly put used to. Almost all (90%) of the Assistant Professors in LPU download slides from the web or copy-paste the articles into the slides and show them to the students which destroys the purpose of visual classrooms. Regarding this, rest you can ask the students there !!

I dont want to just give you -ve points regarding LPU. The pros are:-

1. Enough facilities for students like canteens, ATMs, Bank branches, shops etc.
2. Enough participation oriented activities like Fests, Cultural activities etc.
3. Clean and green environment.
4. Almost every facility within the campus, just like a city.

But, apart from all above stated pros, TWO things student desires or is beneficial for him/her is:-

--> A great THEORETICALLY innovative and PRACTICAL learning-oriented education over the degree course (BCA, BSc, B,Tech etc.)
--> PLACEMENT or JOB-OFFER once he/she passes out of the university. ***No one desires to pass out from a college EMPTY-HANDED (I think so !!)***
And LPU strongly lacks in both of these, sad but it's reality.

Well, atlast I'd say that, If you 'just need education' without quality and placement in the end, go ahead.. get admission in LPU. Or else, crack IIT, AIEEE, MAT, CAT etc. and join the reputed univ. or those college/univ. that are strong in placements, not in ads. Bless u all concerned !!

i am a student of ece branch of lpu,and i won't suggest you to come here,better you join some good aiee colleges or,some colleges smaller than lpu.a big university dosent means a greater scope it means more scam fraud and lies,
and all those who are saying lpu is good,they all are scam, ranked best college for engineering,open your brain those are really scam.

hey i want to tell you something about this university, which always seems good in tv commercial, but they are not actually, they are very wise people, so they delete all the bad words on the net, which uses against them, i just want to inform to all my brothers and sisters , who ever read this one, please dnt spoil your career..
and if any 1 suggest you, and you took admission in this university, then you will see with your eyes, and you always regretting your whole life for that decision

this is the worst university . being an lpu student and also a scholarship holder i assure u tht this university will ruin your whole campus life. Placements are below average. Classes are from 8-5 with 2-3 breaks. From hostel to campus its a 2.5 km walk. Reappears are additional bonus . If u can face all this , then u are most welcome.
Transforming education , transforming india ----> Transforming reappears into bulidings. 2 crore income from only reappears every semester & 1 building is ready .
