hi dear,
This body will be conducting a common exam for 19 PSU banks. You need to prepare according to the syllabus of the test. In the English section you can expect both objective and essay type questions. It will include grammar, comprehension, letter writing, essays etc. In the objective type section you can expect questions from mathematics, reasoning, general awareness and computer knowledge.
thanks

hi,
The best way to prepare for IBPS examination is self study.
You do not need any type of coaching center.
There will be 5 sections in your examination and you must prepare those sections.
Those are :

>>Computer query
>>Numerical Query
>>Reasoning
>>Marketing query
>>General awareness.

For this kind of questions please go through these books:

1.Aptitude book [R.S.Agarwal]
2.Upkar's book for banking sector
3.Kiran's book for banking sector.
thanks

dear friend,

IBPS Takes Examination for PO & special Officer Grade.

But,the Examination for PO is already complete for the 2011 years .For applying in the next year stay touch with official site:-www.ibps.in/

The last date for Clerical Examination:1.08.2011.

The Examination date for Clerical Examination:27.11.2011.

WRITTEN EXAMINATION

Written Examination Structure:-

1.>Reasoning 50 question 50 marks.

2.> English Language 50 question 25 marks.

3.>Quantitative Aptitude 50 question 50 marks.

4.>General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) 50 question 50 marks.

5.>Computer Knowledge 50 question 50 marks.

Up to that time is 150 mins.

Descriptive Paper on English Composition (Essay, Précis, Letter Writing etc)
25 question 60 marks.

Total 250 question 250 marks.

Generally,in bank examinations there are some important sections of which you have to qualify each section separately.

Many of the bank exams have some general sections like:

General Knowledge,

General Aptitude(Logical Reasoning,Analytical ,Insufficient data analysis etc)

General Science,

General Awareness,

General Marketing(Financial,Accounting etc) Knowledge

General Computer Knowledge.

To crack those sections according to me:

1:study the daily newspaper.

2:solve more and more problems from various aptitude test books like R.S.Agarwal,Barron's etc.

3:Try to discover more and more new own tricks by which you can easily solve any problem in a less time .

4:You can go for self tests.

5:study your general science subjects Physics,Mathematics properly.

for all bank exam details keep visiting:http://www.bankexamsindia.com/

so,study hard for these section. Also I'm giving you some books I think it will help you more.

best of luck.
