Any student who has a basic eligibility of +2 can join Indian Amy.

There are different exams for each criteria of students.

for +2 students two exams are there

NDA and TES. These exams are only for +2 students and in the age of between
161/2-19.

yes,commerce student join indian army even after graduation also but you have to clear some writtten and physical exams for army than after you can join.

Yes guys you can join the Army. To the join the army its doesn't mean that in which stream you have completed your study.
you should be passed out your 10+2th and your height must be at least 167 c.m. and first of you have to qualify in the running test which is the aspirants must be completed to 1600 meter within 5 minute and thereafter a written test will be taken by the govt.

Yes you can join Indian army as a permanent commissioned officer or as a short service commissioned officer.You have to clear the CDS exam and SSB for that.Best of Luck.

I am glad to hear that you are interested in joining defense sector of India and want to serve our country.Yes you can join in army because the minimum qualification for joining in army is 12th pass certificate and there is nothing that you are commerce student and so you can't.Only the thing is that if you want to join in Navy or Air force than you will need physic and maths studies with minimum marks in 12th standard otherwise if you plan for army than you are eligible.You can go for NDA which is conducted twice a year in the month of April and in the month of August.

Indian Army for Commerce Students:


The Indian Army is one of the world's largest army and
invites able men to join the army and serve the nation.

As you are a commerce graduate, you may join the
Indian Army and serve the nation by appearing for the
CDS(Common Defence Service)Exam that is conducted
twice every by the UPSC.

The Minimum Eligibility conditions are as follows:


Educational Qualification:

Candidate must have passed graduation from any field
from a recognized university.
Candidates in the final year of graduation may also apply.
No minimum percentage requirement for CDSE.

If you wish, you may also apply for the Air Force or the Navy,

Indian Army and serve the Nation.

To join the Defence forces, you need to
appear for the CDS exam.


About CDSE:

The CDS exam is conducted by the UPSC twice a year.
It is held for the selection of able graduates in the
defence forces of India.
Candidates are alloted Permanent or Short Service
commission as per eligibility.
Candidates can join directly join as an officer in the Army,
Air Force or Navy after completion of their training period
at the various defence academies across INDIA.
Both Unmarried male and female candidates are
eligible to appear for the CDSE.


Eligibility :

Unmarried Male and Female candidates can apply.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates applying for the CDSE must be a graduate
in any field from a recognized university.
Candidates in the final graduation year may also apply.
For candidates who want to apply for the Air Force or navy,
must have studied Physics and Maths in Higher Secondary.

For AFA:19-23 years(Only Male)

OFCOURSE, you can join army, after clearing the NDA exam, then there are some physical tests are have to clear. but you must have the subject mathematics in your 10+2 examination.age limit is 16-19.

yes, you are eligible for this exam , but only for military wings , (not for naval & air wings).
after 12th you can apply for through NDA examination (must have maths in 12th), the age limit for NDA exam is 16.5-19. but after graduation (in any stream), you can apply through CDS\IMA exams under the age limit of 19-25.

You can write CDS(Common Defence Service) or NDA(National Defence Academy) exam. The exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).
