I got 56% in 10th, 85% in 12th and 62% in b.com. Will I get a job in good companies?

dear friend,

Don't worry friend,many of the MNC takes takes throughout 60% in your academic career.

but there is some more company who takes bellow 60% marks.so, you can go for

1.>TCS experienced experience walk-ins for that you have gather minimum one year experience from any company.for that you can join a medium type software company.

2.>Wipro off campus recruitment.

3.>Syntel

4.>ABC Technology

5.>Mind Fire Private Solutions

6.>Poornam software .

7.>Foradian Technology

8.>Arjun Infotech


other wise you can go for higher studies like M.Tech or MBA.

so friend many option is waiting for you go as you like.

I have one doubt regarding eligibility critiria in infosys.

I have 4 years of perior experience and received offer letter recently for Infosys job.

My marks in
10th -69%
12th -58.4%
B.Sc -75%
M.C.A -74%

Would it be going to problem after/before joining , Please let me know.

I think it would be better if you go for higher studies,
whether G-MAT or GATE....its your choice,
If you are interested in business field then jmet will be better,
as for companies which does not have cutoffs there are many such companies but there is no point in working those companies,
better go for higher studies

I think it is difficult for you to get job right now with that percentage.
It is better to go to higher studies.
please work hard in your higher studies so that you get good job there.

Because of the fierce competition these days,almost all the companies either private or government set an eligibility criteria of minimum 60% in graduation and most of the IT companies ask for 60% through the academics.

Although there are still some companies that do ask lesser than 60%.

But you will have lots of options open in some many private companies.Once you gain some experience then your percentage will not become a barrier in the path of your success.

Even in some of the govt.sector too you might get a chance.

So,do not lose heart,there are number of individuals who didn't secured 60% but are in good position.

all the buggers here stop discouraging people all these criteria's are only for freshers and not for experience people , so don't worry go and get some experince and then all the MNC's will open their arms, but however u have to know the subject well.

There is good competition among the candidates in the field of Information Technology.

Many companies are coming to the colleges itself and recruting those who are good enough in subject knowledge, communication skills and good academic record.

Here is the minimum eligibility criteria required for the candidates to get an IT job.

-Completion of all the academic levels with a minimum of 60% of marks.

-There should not be any pending backlogs

-The academic gap should not be more than 2 years.

Written Exam
Group Discussion
Technical Interview
HR Interview

Having scored less than 60% of marks in all the academic levels, I think you are not eligible to make entry into MNCs.

So, what I can suggest you is to learn any of the IT tool or Technology and try to for job opportunities on that in small companies.

Work there for certain years and then make your entry into MNCs.

I have secured 73% in SSC 10th std . After that i had done diploma in IT and secured 78% and after that i had 2 yrs of gap in between .After that i had done B.E in IT and my percentages in each year are as follows

2nd year in B.E = 50%
3rd year in B.E = 70%
final year in B.E = 78%

Aggregate in B.E is = 66%

Am i eligible in top MNC companies with this percentage? also list some of companies where i can get selected?
