But it depend upon your college, which companies visited in your college for recruiting students.

All the companies you may have heard of, visit various college's campus for placements, even PSUs. For a particular college it depends on the training and placement cell that, which companies does it invites and how many of those companies respond to that invitation.
For your branch all the motor vehicle company like TATA, TVS, BAJAJ etc, heavy earth moving machinery like JCB, Telcon etc, and some other companies like Caterpillar etc visit for placements of automobile engineers.
