IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Every year IBPS is conducting common written exams separately for the recruitment of following positions for all public sector banks
Clerical Positions Probationary Officers Specialist Officers etc. The selection procedure would involve Written Exam Interview The written exam consists of questions from the following categories Reasoning Numerical Ability General Awareness General English Computer Knowledge You have to score minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through it. You will be given scorecard after announcement of results. If your score is more than the cut off marks required for your category, then you will get a call for the Interview. The cut off marks will be decided on the basis of following things Difficult of the Exam Number of candidates appeared for the Exam. Hence, if the paper is difficult, the cut off will be low. If the paper is too easy, then the cut off will be high. Don't bother about the required score. Carry out your preparation in high level. Then definitely you can crack this Exam.
