your 10th percentage is below 60% most of the company will not allow.
because most of the company wants 60% through out in your academic career
But some company has 50% criteria like syntel

you are not eligible . MY advice is you start with small company, and after 2 or three years try for big companies.

If you have only one year gap then you can apply for tcs.

Eligibility for TCS For Freshers Student:-


1.>Candidates should have throughout 60% means 60% in 10th, 60% in 10+2th and 60% in graduation.In case of BCA student you have complete your MCA Degree.

2.>Candidates should have a graduation from a recognized university(Must be AICTE approved).

3.> Candidates should not have any backlogs.

4.> Candidates should not have more then 2 year gap in his study career.


Eligibility for TCS For Experienced Student:-

1.>Candidates should have throughout 50% means 50% in 10th, 50% in 10+2th and 50% in graduation.In case of BCA student you have complete your MCA Degree.

2.>Candidates should have a graduation from a recognized university(Must be AICTE approved).

3.> Candidates should not have any backlogs.

4.> Candidates should not have more then 2 year gap in his study career.

5.>Minimum One year Experience Required.


After that your qualify round will be:-

1.>Aptitude test.

2.>Technical round.

3.>Group discussion(Optional).

4.>HR round.

Here each and every round is elimination round.

The recuitment in TCS is similar to other companies. They either recruit through campus or off campus.
They advertise their vaccancies and you can appear for them.
As far as recruitment is concerned they only search for talented hard working guys with extra qualifications.
your marks are good which shows that you are hard working individual.
So you can apply for the vaccancies as you have the required qualifications

1) Campus Recruitment

2) Off-Campus Recruitment

3) Direct Walkin.

As per the qualification details provided by you basically you would be eligible for "Off-Campus Recruitment" thats because you haven't got "Campusing" and "Direct Walkin is generally meant for experiance holders.

Well, for Off-Campus Recruitment Eligibility criteria is that-

A) Candidate must have at least 60% aggregate Xth, XIIth, Graduation and Post Graduation also.

B) Candidates must not have fresh backlogs. Means if you are apeearing for recruitment in 2011 then you shouldn't have any backlogs at that time, time of recruitment

C) If candidate has any Educational Gap, then it should not be more then of 2 years and a Valid Reason should be associated with it.

So, everything seems fine except your "Graduation" result in which you have less then 60%. So you are not eligible in terms of companies eligibility criterias.

So, in this situation the Only think which can help you is to opt for any other company acquire at least 2+ of experiance and then you can go through "Direct Walkin" because walkins are different things it is based on companies requirement at that time, and there thigs with education qualification are not give much waitage that time.

For your Inspiration:- A Person(cant mention his details) has also same problem. His graduation and MCA were perfect (Gold Medalist), but his aggregate of 1oth & 12th were very low. He doesn't get job in company of his choice "IBM"
He stars working in companies like- Genisys, mphasis and acquire 3+ experiance. Got through Walkin at IBM, and now he is working for IBM on an International project.

Then you will have to fulfill these criteria

1.Academic qualification :
You should have minimum 60% marks throughout your academic qualification.

2.Study gap :
Maximum 2 years of study gap is allowed here

3.Backlog criteria :
You should not have any pending backlog

you are not eligible for TCS

i got
86.75% in ssc,
93.9% in 2,
65.48% in b.tech up to 3-2 sem.
but i got 59.2% in 3-2 sem.am i eligible for TCS.CTS,WIPRO,IBM,HCLetc,..

There are some companies which give importance to the marks of 10 and 12..but there are many other good mnc companies which are offering jobs not on the basis of marks

and acedmics but they focus on your practical knowledge and your ability to solve logical problems. So do not tense and improve your knowledge and crack the interviews

of good companies ..

i secured 76.87% marks in 10th ,69.4% marks in 12,and in graduation 63.5% marks in hons paper(as per as calcutta university norms only hons marks are taken into consideration)but if I calculate the pass paper it will get down to 59.2%( the pass marks are not taken into consideration.The total marks are given there by calculating the hons marks),and currently i am pursuing MCA with 8.41 in average.Am i eligible for wipro or TCS?
