you should have AIR under 18000 in aieee and 60% in class 12th

The qualification for admission in BIT mesra is same as required to apply for aieee. There is no separate criteria.
The application procedure will start in the month of december.
The exam will held in the last week of april and result publishes in May last week to Jun 1st week.

It is bit difficult to explain the cutoff exactly because there happened 7 round of counselling so you must visit the central counselling board website to get details about all the round of counselling. An AIR 5000 is in safe zone. Actually, The afterward rounds of counselling allotment depends on the no. of students in a particular who quit after being alloted a seat.
The seat allotment in different rounds of conselling can be seen at the following website.
http://ccb.nic.in/ccb2009/aieeecouns09/orcr/SelectInst.aspx
You will have to enter the counselling round no. and Institute name at the website and then you will get the information.

Sorry, No OBC Quota is available in BIT ranchi! Desired rank in Civil is

The intake is through CCB Counselling and The Spot rounds Begin on 11th of this Month! You can Try for Bio-technology, Civil, Polymer, and Production Engineering!

Sorry, You Haven't Mentioned your Category. you have very vague chances even if you are an ST candidate, Because the Cut- Off got stagnant at 177000 (polymer)last year.

u should work hard to get in to bits mesra.
u have to consentrate on ur fundamentals..and ur maths ,phy,and chem..

ur rank should be under 10000 ie allindia rank and ur state rank should be under 100 to get it..

u have to secure a rank within the top 2500-3000 in order to get a good branch in BITS mesra..

This is wrong information.. Previous year, I had secured 21033 rank but could not get admission even in Biotech through general category.
And one of my friend is there with AIEEE rank of 1572 in CSE
