does GPAT qualification is mandatory to do phd.....plz...answer me

hlo sir i hav done the m.pharm ceutics and also do the phd in part time and i m not gpait qualifed candidate..under thes condition. am i applicabl for phd or not if yes than what is the procedure..and from where i will get the phd digrre easlly..plz send me detaild

I am M.pharm(Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
can i do phd in bioinformatics (Drug design Section) at Vellore Institute of technology.
after completing the phd whether i am eligible to join in pharmcy college as Professor in
Pharmaceutical chemistry department or whether i am eligible to join in Pharmaceutical industry

For a good career after p.hd. it is mandatory for you to appear for UGC-NET entrance exam.

A recent law passed by parliament and other law governing bodies has made it mandatory for cracking NET for all those who want to persue p.hd. from government or government aided institute in India.

So,for great career prospect it is adviceable to go through NET.

eligibility= post graduate degree in life sciences, chemical sciences, bioinformatics, biotechnology, agriculture,vetinary sciences, madicine graduates + GATE/NET

Ph.d at Rajeev Gandhi Center for Biotechnology
eligibility= post graduate degree in life sciences, chemical sciences, bioinformatics, biotechnology, agriculture,vetinary sciences, madicine graduates

eligibility= post graduate degree in pharmacology

Ph.d at Pharmaceutical sciences through CRET at BHU, Varansi
