Hello,
Up to my knowledge what i know about infosys is that since its a multinational company the minimum criteria is 60% and above in your 10th,12th and your B.E but since your not meeting the criteria by 1% in your 12th grade therefore i don't think you will have problems. You are having good grades in your 10th and in your B.E therefore it will help you in appearing the interview.Other than infosys you can try in companies like HCL,Wipro, etc. Best wishes. |

Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job?
If You Have Scored Below 60% Marks In Your Bachelor Degree Exams, then I think You will Face the Problem, While You are Apply for Jobs OR Campus Placements. Because In These days Every Company Wants Atleast Minimum 60% Marks In Your Career. So, If You have mentain 60% Marks From Your 10th Onward to till Your Graduation, Only then You are Eligible to Get Jobs in Top Companies. In Now A Days Very few Companies Wants 55% Marks In Your Career, So, If You have Scored Less marks, then You will be face some Problem While you are appear for Jobs OR Campus Placements. But dont worry, It does Not Mean that You Will Not get Jobs, Definitely You will get Jobs If you have Good Communication skills and Knowledge. But Marks Will Also required Equal Importance. In These Days Every Company Need 60% Marks Candidates. |

Re: Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job?
The 1st thing you have to note down is how much you got in your 10th and 12th too if you have % more than 60 in those two you are somewhat safer...Don't give up hope...there are lots of companies which ask people with 55% to attend their aptitude exam...So prepare well for the aptitude once you are good at it u can reach the next round. After that mostly your communication skill and how you show yourself in the interview only matters. Lookout for offcampus interviews. Check newspapers daily there are tons of jobs waiting for the right person don't think about your marks.
Try to improve yourself all the ways you can. If you are a CSE student then try to finish some courses ( which are valued in software company ) outside of your college same thing goes if you are a core student attend some courses which value these will help during interviews are even when your resume has to be selected against 1000 others they'll be eye catching. Forget your Weak point strengthen your other areas which are necessary to win the interview. There are a lot of jobs waiting both in core and in software. Prepare well. And ya there are various websites offering sample question papers for many companies eg. freshers world.... And the most important thing is register and submit your resume in websites like Monster.com, Times job, Technical symposium.net etc.. Once you get mail from these websites saying you have been selected for an interview in a company check in the company website whether there is really placement opportunity because there are many frauds who send a mail saying you got selected for an interview just Deposit 5000Rs. to this account or send your credit card no. so be vary..... All the Best. Don't loose hope. Prepare well. |

You are not eligible for Govt. sector because in Govt. sector minimum percentage criteria is 65 % marks. If you scored less than 60% marks in B.Tech. , you can get job in private sector only. Best of Luck |

Re: Less than 60% marks in B.tech, can I get any job?
In India if a student is an educated one & laborious too then to get a job will not be a problem for HIM.But as your marks is below 60% so it might be possible that in the beginning you have to prove yourself by making more efforts than others. But once it proved then you will be upgraded to a higher position as well.So its better to register yourself in "Naukari.com" & get the latest updates from there & proceed for an interview.

dear friend
there are many companies which recruit students on the no criteria bases that mean that it doesn't matter to them how much your marks are but then you should good in communication skill and also you should have good technical knowledge.some times it happens that people have got talent and they are good in studies but due to some reason they don't get good marks so no need to worry there are many companies for you. NOTE: you should not have any backlogs after completing your 4th year . some companies which recruit students on no criteria basis in my college are : TAVISCA druva software and many more .... |

In government sectors the eligibility criteria for most exams are 60%, so I think it is a problem for you .Only few Govt. sectors don't require 60% like rail, HAL etc.........
In privet sectors it can create a problem, because the most MNCs and core companies required 60%. But nothing is impossible , do any job and get experienced only after that no one will go to see the result . thank you |
