yea obviously you will get job in company. there are few company for which you have to take 60% marks throughout the career to be an employee for these company. but there are also so many company in which they have no such criterion. they recruit any students who have the be or btech degree. so go for this type of company. surely you will get job in a very reputed company. best of luck.

It is true that many companies coming for campus recruitment require at least 60% throughout the applicant’s educational life. So a score of less than 60% in BTech might pose some problems for you.

But don't loose heart, you will still find good jobs. There are some companies which require less than 60% (mostly 50% or 55%) as a cut off for applying to vaccancies in their organizations.

You should go through the minimum educational requirement of companies & ensure that you fulfill all the eligibility criteria before applying for a particular job.

you didn't mention you specialization in B.Tech.

But i would like to let you know that some reputed companies put criteria on student that marks must be 60% through out from class 10th.

As you have only 57% marks in B.Tech then you will face problems for applying in different companies.

But there are so many other companies also who doesn't put any criteria of marks, they recruit student as per their merit.
you can try in these companies.

But better for you to submit your resume to the following job searching websites & will alert you when any appropriate job(vacancies) for you published in market .

your question is incomplete, you have not mentioned your stream of BTech.

if you belongs from core branch, then you would get job, but if you belong

from software branch then it is very difficult for you to get job in a reputed company.

You can job in BPO, Call centre etc.

If you to do good job then you should go for further study like MBA or MTech.

yeah some companies do have certain cutoff percentage of 60%. Like say infosys has 65% cutoff while wipro has 60%. So it varies.

So companies even have a system wherein all matters is how you fare in the interview. So prepare well for the interview and i dont think 1 year percentage is the right thing to judge as its your personality and knowledge about the subject which matter

All good companies like infosys,tcs,cts,ibm and many more demands atleast 60% marks allthrough that is in 10th,12th and B.Tech.
But less than 60% marks in B.Tech will not gives you the good jobs in these companies, but if your communication skill is good then you will surely manage a good jobs in any other companies.ok. So don't get worried about the jobs just concentrate on your work.

most of the companies mostly private sector companies demands at least 60% in b.tech aggregate. so as you have mentioned that you have got 57% so it will be a difficult for you to get a good job.

but still there are some companies you can apply.

1.Private Sector and
2.Government Sector

Now choice depend upon you.
What about you choose please prepare yourself.Say if you are not getting job in a good and big company , so what , that's not matter.
You don't mention yours 10th and 12th marks . If these two are good then i think there will not be a lot of problem to get the job.

Say if i consider in the corporate sector then you are eligible in TCS, Tech-mahindra,esargen etc..

If i consider in the Govt. sector then you are eligible in Bank,Rail,Navi etc exam.

There are few jobs as well as service programs available for you.

Please provide few more details about your Qualification and interests as well.

Master key to your problem: Go for Master's programme (MTech or MBA) and prove yourself there.

3.IBM

etc.
bt u don't worry for ur various companies r

etc.
and if u r interested to go in core sector then there is no problem.because maximum core companies don't want 60%.
if u r interested to go in govt sector then u can also go.

Yes you can get jobs in companies until and unless they they wont give an eligibility criteria of 60% in B.Tech. Otherwise its totally dependent you how you express yourself in front if them.

Hey ,i am in this same situation!!! i cat say like all the other ppl have in this post "dont worry, it'll be fine'",coz it wont.....i m not a pessimist ,but if u want to get a good job be prepared to struggle a lot .... best suggestion i can give to you is that start looking for mostly govt jobs.....coz most of them require mainly 55% marks in graduation.

yes ofcourse, you will get a job. there are some companies which ask for 60% or above in btech to sit in the interview but that does,nt mean that students getting less than 60% are not getting jobs. the main thing is that you will not get handsome salary in the starting. you must do any job you get and gain some experience. once you get 1 or 2 year experience then you will find a lot of job for you.

there are many companies who dont have any requirement while recruiting on campus and off campus but some prefer that candidates must have 60% throughout there acadmics...some time it happens students having good marks may not able to crack the interview but supprisingly some students having lees percentage got good high paying jobs...

yea surely you will get job. do not worry about this. there is some company those require minimum of 60% marks throughout to enter into their company. but there is also so many company which recruit student who have less than 60% marks. first try to get job in any company then gain some experience there. after that apply for a good leading company through walk in interview with your experience. surely you will get a good job.

i got less then 60% marks in 12th can i get any job

i m a B.E 2nd year student..i dropped 2 years for some reason..if i score more than 60 percent in remaining 2 years..than can i apply for job in companies like tcs,infosis,wipro..in 10 and 12th i scored 60 percent marks..will the dropped years create any problem in getting job...

Dear friend you can get the job in many companies,there are few companies which requires 60% in engineering.its better for you to search a job of your discipline,that means if you are a mechanical engineer then don't apply fort software jobs for your future betterment

It is little difficult for u to get job in companies like infosys, ibm,wipro e.t.c as they require 70% in b.tech but nothing to worry there are so many companies which only require b.tech degree so apply for them . U will surely get job if u r talented .good luck

This criteria is mainly for govt. jobs. But some companies(govt/private) demand 55% also.
Also if you have any quota, you are eligible.

hi friend 57% is comparably very low mark, because as many engineering colleges are emerging, there are lot of students, so lot of competitions, the only way you can do is just write exams like GRE and TOEFEL exams, and there are so many exams like this, so with these exams you can do your higher studies in foreign countries, after finishing your higher studies you can get a very good job, so go a head with this exams friend. First thing ,dont worry so much...First complete your btech. And the factor which influence placement is not only your percentage , i.e if u have done done a good project then it may help u a lot ..also u can appear for GATE exam for mtech which has very good scope , u can do better there. And there is GRE exam for ms in abroad , after clearing gre u will get nice fellowships also.

Yes.., you can get a job in a compamy, but ther are very few companies which offer job for the candidates with less than 60% marks.

but you can do M.Teh. then after you can get a good job in a good company.

Having 57 % will definitely a problem, but the impact of this less percentage will not be that much severe in getting a job.

Most of the companies will put the basic eligibility as career 60 or career 60+.

Few companies, they will eligible the people who are having a minimum of 55% in their graduation.

So try to collect the list of those companies from various resources and prepare well.
