generally the All-India rank required to secure a seat in NIT is 1 to 12000 for general category

and 1 to 2500 for OBC.

You will have score in between 14000 to get any of the NIT's in AIEEE..

you really have to score good to get into any of the NIT's.so if you want to get into NIT your all India rank should be between 1 to 12,000.wthin this rank all the NITS gets their seats filled up.

in every NIT 50% seat is reserved for its own state candidate.generally NIT seat are filled within 10 thousand rank.but for those who are getting good state rank but not getting good general rank then he has also chance to get nit seat on his own state.generally 50% seat of NIT durgapur fillup within 10 thousand but remaining 50% i.e state quota will go upto 30 thousand.

for AIEEE next coming year or you can even give CET a try. However you can get admission in many colleges on the basis of management quota but i dont recommend that.best of luck dear

Hey it depends upon the rank of others and number of students and number of seat available ...probably..A rank around !15000 (AIR) would make eligible to book a seat for you in lower NITs..

The Required AIEEE Ranks for taking admission in top NITs like NIT warangal, NIT calicut , NIT trichi etc is within 5000.

so you have to score well in AIEEE exam if you want to take admission in above top NITs.

AIEEE examination is one of the national level exams .
NIT is the one of top most colleges in India.
so to get admission in NIT you should score between 1-8000.

for nit trichy you must get rank of about 3000 for a good branch
for another top NITs you must secure rank of about 12000 for a good branch

you shoulg get minimum 5000-10000 you may get goog seat

what is the closing rank for elec. & electronics in nit calicut.

for NI and IIIT you need to score 1-10,000 and if you belong to OBS than 1-25000. for sc/st 1-35000 you can IIIT and NIT and it also depend upon in which branch you want to take admission. for more detail you can visit last year record of admission on www.aieee.nic.in

to get admission in top NITS, you have to secure all india rank below 5000.If you secure the rank below 5000,you will not only get top NITs but you will also get good stream.

For Reserved category you requires 2000 AIR

Opening and closing ranks vary depending on your category,branch and also the state to which you belong.

I am saying irrespective of branches into NIT warangal.

For
OC <16,000 for all india and <19,000 for students of Andhra Pradesh.
BC <24,000 for all india and <31,000 for students of Andhra Pradesh.
SC <82,000 <1,07,000
ST <1,20,000 <1,60,000

well sagnik,

AIR should be in between (1-10k) if you aspire to join any bracnh in any NIT.

but if you desired to get your choiced branch and you choiced NIT then you

must get AIR between (1-5k)

To get admission in Top 10 colleges you should have merit rank between 1 to 15,000 generally.It has the concept of negative marking,so do not mark answers unless you are sure about it.Candidate having negative score are rejected.

under 15,000 gen category rank best for good nit but if your rank is about 30,000 than also you got nit srinagar but after 3rd counseling.
