Re: PO eligibility?
The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to apply for Bank PO positions is by completion of Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.
The candidates should score a minimum of 60% of marks in Graduation from a recognized university. Relaxation is there in percentage of marks upto 5% for the candidates of SC or ST category. The selection procedure would involve Written Exam Interview The written exam consists of questions from the following categories Reasoning Numerical Ability General Awareness General English Computer Knowledge One should score minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through it. There is a negative marking for the wrong answer questions in the written exam. Depending upon the score that you will get in the Written exam, you may or may not get a call for the Interview. Here is the required age criteria. 20-28 years of age for the candidates of General category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. The candidate should be a citizen of India to apply for this Exam. As you have scored only 53% of marks in your Graduation, you are not eligible to apply for this Exam. You can try for job opportunities in private sector if you want to get a bank job. Wish you all the best. |
