Re: Doing M.Tech after B.Tech(IT) is good or not?
Many chooses master degree as the tool To stand out from the huge crowd of BE/Btech degree holders.
Getting master degree is not the matter. You need to update your knowledge up to the master degree level. |

BE just gives the overall idea of all area in your stream. But ME gives the detailed study of the particular area which you likes the most. If you get something useful, then obviously is must be good.

Re: Doing M.Tech after B.Tech(IT) is good or not?
M.Tech is the good option for the B.Tech student if they are interested in further studies.
yes m.tech is definitely a good option after m.tech especially for those who want to pursue their career in lecturer ship or technical line after b.tech.And one need study extra for this because the paper has all the questions from the four year syllabus of b.tech only and a bit of general aptitude which one can easily attempt. choose the in which you intersted. |

Re: Doing M.Tech after B.Tech(IT) is good or not?
If you want to go in teaching field then Mtech is good
otherwise I suggest you do MBA It is so simple in this present time MBA degree have more value in comparison any degree... and if you are from engineering background then all organization needs will be full fill by you because you have knowledge about practical, technical, management so you fit for any post so normally student do MBA after engineering ..and company hire them with smile so you will do MBA in future good luck |

Re: Doing M.Tech after B.Tech(IT) is good or not?
dear friend,
My friend it is better for you to go for MBA rather than M.tech.. As you have mentioned that you are from IT stream , so you will get better opportunity to get a high salary job after completion of your MBA.. Technical degree in B.tech IT with PG degree in MBA is in huge demand now.. so, you should go for MBA.. But if you have interest in M.tech, then you can go for it.. you can also get a good job after M.tech.. Now, choice is yours ... All the best.. |

Re: Doing M.Tech after B.Tech(IT) is good or not?
Yes it is. it would be better to stay in your own field rather than changing your field, which would be a sheer waste of all the years that we put in for B.Tech. not only that it provides you with a greater insight into your field.
For M.Tech you need to write the GATE exam, which is conducted by the 7 iits and the IISc. they not only provide admission in the best colleges in the country but also gives a stipend of around 8ooo RS a month. |

Hi dear..
You should go for MBA after B.Tech IT to find a nice job. However, if you feel to go for M.Tech, then go for it , if you are really interested in studying it, as you have to give GATE exam for this which is not very easy to clear. But for CSE and IT students, MBA is considered as the best option. Rest it is your decision. All the best for your future !! With warm Regards Sammy |

Definitely it is the good opinion going for the masters after the bachelor. You are eligible to do the M.tech course. After completing the masters your value will be doubled in the job field as well as in the knowledge area.
You can give the GATE exam for the admission in various top engineering organizations. The basic eligibility criteria for this exam is to have a bachelor degree in engineering sector in any branch. |
