sir my overall percentage in b-tech is 63% . can i elligible for ntpc- 2011 recruitment through gate 2011

GATE is graduate apptiude test engineering which is conduct all over india.

If you get good rank in gate you will get good colleges like iit's,Nit's and universities.

Now a days companies also hiring students through gate exam.

The companies are IOCL, NTPC, BHEL are going to hire student through gate exam.

If you have good rank in gate exam ,then you have chance to get government jobs,
but you have also crack the written exam for particular job.

In many oil companies,there is need of gate scorecard as follows:

5.BHEL

If you have good rank in ur gate exam then there is more chances to selected during interview phase.

The state government owned oil marketing companies (OMCs) will be asking to take Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) before applying for entry level jobs in these companies. Last year largest fuel retailer in the country IOC recuruted 200 engineers on the basis of their socres at GATE.

yes dear now GATE SCORE is very important for many companies like BHEL, NTPC, IOCL, PGCIL, DVC, ISRO. These companies directly conduct interview for u if u have a good GATE SCORE.

through GATE score aspirants are admitted to all the public sector units. The vacancy in the public sector units were filled by recruiting through campus and off campus placement. But from the current year the recruitment is only through off campus that too based on the gate score.
The public sector units to which aspirants are admitted through gate score are BHEL, NTPC, ONGC, SAIL , BSNL, etc. The vacancy available in the sectors is published in the news paper and the official websites. To apply for it you need a valid gate score or you need to have applied for it. The selection procedure involves group discussion and personnel interview. But the exam is useful for applying for private companies too. Private companies also recognise the gate score

hey i m 3rd yr electronics engg,,,,,,,,i want to start preparetn about gate exam.....bt some of my friends join special coaching for that ,,,have the need to join such coaching for preparation ?ya is it ok to prepare like self study..some of them said me that whatever we are study in class at that time only we r doing study for result nt for knowelge.....bt if we r intrested about gate then knowlwge is must for that need to join the other class ....without class it is hard to got the admission in good clg ya realy it is true else its my nd my frends mentality????plz give me suggestn what i do?
