i had an arrear in my first semester bot i have cleared it now and secured 80%. am i eligible to apply for jobs in companies like IBM?

sir i have 87% in 10th , 89.60% in 12th and 57% in b.tech(up to 3-2 sem) remaining 2 sems i secured 60%. can i got job in IBM.
please tell me sir.....
any chance to attend campus recuritments.

>>Minimum 65% marks throughout of academic career.

>>year loss not more than 2 years.

>>Not current back logs.

>>good communication skill.

>>good knowledge in programming.

IT sector :
You must maintain 65% marks throughout your academic career.And must have a good communication skill for IBM.

Call center :Here you must have 60% marks in your academic career.Here communication skill and product selling capability is also necessary.

Eligibility criteria for IBM(Tata consultancy Services),
* Candidates should score 60% at 10th ,12th,graduation
For B.E./B.Tech/MCA the minimum percentage required is 70%
* Maximum 1 year gap is allowed.
* Backlog is not allowed. So, if you have any backlog clear it.

Its not mean that you are not talented, but I am saying in google point of view. Because, google's eligibility is above 70%

But your % in 12th not matching with IBM eligibility criteria

Some of them have same marks like 10th:-70%, 12th:-55%, BSc:-55% and MCA:-70%. But they are happily wokring in IBM. I dont know about senior level post , after 5 yrs exp are they follow the same criteria or not.

After 5 years , when you have 5 years experience certificate then instead of seeing your academic marks , your 5 years experience will be at the top.

from above sentence it is clear that you had not completed your B tech, company see only your final % marks of B'tech
so work hard and get above 7.0 cgpa

my advice is first you work on some small company for 2 or 3 years and take the experience and then you can try for any MNC companies

No there is no need of doing oracle,.net etc, software needs only those candidate who have better knowledge of c,c++,and java

I am sorry to say your 12th class % doesn't allow you to sit in IBM , tcs, accenture etc
but you can apply for cts, syntel etc

Is it mandatory to follow the academic eligibility criteria for experienced candidates in IBM. I have 71% marks in 10th, 70% in 12th and I have completed my 3 year regular diploma in Computer Engineering with 75% of marks. Now I have 5 years of IT Experience. Please reply me whether I can apply for a suitable job in IBM or not. Or else can you please tell me the other companies where I can apply

hi!

IBM offers jobs at different levels like entry level,junior level etc. & in different fields like networking, software development, system administration etc. The eligibility criteria required for a particular job post depends on the nature of the job.

You have not mentioned for which job you wish to apply in IBM.

The general eligibility criteria for IBM is as follows:
1) Students should have aggregate above 60% throughout their academic career i.e 10th, 12th, graduation or post graduation.

2) No standing backlogs are allowed.
