If you really want to advance your knowledge in computer field then i will suggest you to go for MCA . But MBA is another good option for you because if you do MBA then with computer knowledge you should have business knowledge also which is more demand able in market now days. But keep one thing in mind the field in which you do your best you choose that field.

The only option left for you is go for the MCA course it will add extra dimension to your future.

Do not think to much about the age and take admission in MCA as soon as possible, in good college.

& also in MCA you have to waste 3 years,
so i would like to suggest you to do MBA, it will take 2 years & job prospects are very good as compare with MCA.

you must do MCA from any recognized institute.It is better option for you. But there is many other different option for higher studies which are following-

MBA

M.Sc honours in Computer science

But in my opinion MCA is the best one because It is advance form of BCA and
the syllabus is almost same.So you have not face any type of difficulty in your education.

Sorry, you can not recover your lost years. The best thing will be to pursue some job oriented course which will provide you opportunity for career growth & advancement.

After BCA, MCA is the best option since it is one of the most demanding courses in India. The job prospects after MCA is very bright. You will get various job posts like: software engineering and development, hardware and networking, research and development, services and application support, etc…

However, if you don't wish to pursue MCA then you have another option in the form of MBA. The MBA course is of 2 years duration & offers a no. of electives like IT, power management, port management, aviation management , marketing, finance, HR etc.

There is no way any IT company will going to higher BCA pass out (with no other qualification) .

So if BCA pass out is interested in IT or software field, they have to have join MCA course in reputed university. MCA degree is equivalent to B.E from computer science from hiring point of view for most of IT companies.

other wise they can prepare for MBA or UPSC

As you are persuing BCA and you are in the final year so, try to make your career in the following :-

1) You can try for M.Sc.Tech in Computer Science and then if you can do well then you can go for IIT.

2) You can try for MBA and it is very good option for you as you can enhance yourself in both technical and management side. After MBA career option is also very appreciating.

So, choose acoording to your choice.

Well a graduate degree is not good enough for a good career.. you will get low paying jobs with minimal growth.
Doing Higher studies will finally get you better jobs with renowned companies and also a handsome salary.
MBA bug has also smitten you you can go for MBA from some reputed collegs through CAT/XAT/NMAT/MH-CET etc.
MBA opens numerous avenues fro your career ... And if you manage to get into a good college you will find fortune 500 companies lining up for you.
However you may also get a chance working for top indian companies and you can get jobs in government sector with fast promotions.

Its good to do MCA after BCA because once you get the degree for the MCA course then there are lots of job opportunity available for you. So its a good choice to do MCA.

Gaps in study doesn't matter more. Only few company's will are there which required no study gap. But there are lots of another company's in which you can apply. Once you get the experience then no company will check your study gap. Then they only select you on the basis of your experience .

So doing MCA is the best option. There is more scope available for you after doing MCA. You can also apply for the various entrance exam where the requirement is engineering. As the scope of BCA is not so good and only few jobs are available for the BCA students.

So doing MCA you get the specialization in your field and more jobs are then available for you in comparison to BCA.

I will suggest you to go for MBA from a good college ,because first of all MBA is a two year degree program,and the salary packages are really high for a MBA student as compare to a MCA student,so go for MBA.

Yes definitely. Soon after the completion of BCA, joining MCA is a very good option.

You have incurred a loss or gap of 2 years which might have some impact at the time of interview for some of the companies.

So you should be able to convince them by explaining the proper reason for your gap.

Look for that reason, by joining some courses or certification programs.

As per MCA, it is a very good option. You can plenty of opportunities in IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc

after BCA there is many opportunity for the jobs and study.
You can direct admission on the MBA/MCA.
or you can get also job after the BCA.
But if you carry your study then better option is for you as MCA course because this is only course for BCA students for carry the study and also knowledge as computer.

You must be willing to make a good carrer in computer administation so MCA would be best option for you and you need not to be worry about doing so as there is no age bar for doing professional degree courses like MCA or MBA.

You may also consider MBA after BCA. Well there is no way to recover those two years gap.

doing MCA is the best choice after BCA. Eventhough you wasted two years its never late. If you don't want to waste three years and earn for this three years you can join in small company using your BCA. And do MCA in correspondence. This will get you to a nice place with your MCA and your job experience.

I would prefer MCA for you because after BCA you sould do MCA and there ar esome colleges which provide 2 Years MCA degree too.
