May Buy NCERT books of 6th, 7th, up to 12th for History, geography, polity and economy will help us understand better and remember things than reference books. Things are explained in a simple manner in these books.

For Prelims Spectrum or Tata Mc grawhills General Studies book
Geography: Majjid hussain , Buy a book which covers Karnataka geography.
For History I use Krishna Reddy for prelims. Since its just like a guide, For Karnataka History Suryanath U Kamath's book.

First of all please provide full information about your subjects for prelims and mains, ok i will provide you information of general types of books, first of all NCERT books of Class 11th and 12th of History,Geography, Political Science. For indian modern history you can prepare from India Struggle for Independence by Bipin Chandra, and Greography by Spectrum, and books by Laximikanth for indian polity.

May Buy NCERT books of 6th, 7th, up to 12th for History, geography, polity and economy will help us understand better and remember things than reference books. Things are explained in a simple manner in these books.

KAS is one of the prestigious exam that the karnataka state govt conducts.
KAS- stands for Karnataka Administrative Services. It brings youths in administration work so as to make the working body of government efficient.For applying KAS exam you should be graduate from a recognized university. You should score first class marks in graduation.
Age limit : 21-30 years.
To prepare for the same start with all basic books such as NCERT .After NCERT only start reading Reference books. otherwise for students who are from science background or people who are writing their exam after a long gap of graduation will stumble at many steps of their preparation
