Re: Am I eligible to register for IPCC after graduating in B.Com?
Any candidate who has completed graduation can take admission in the Integrated Professional Competancy Course (IPCC) which is regarded as the second stage of Chartered Accountancy course. However as per the latest rules of the ICAI which allows graduates to take direct admission, there is certain condition.
1. Commerce graduate should have 55 percent marks to get direct admission in Integrated Professional Competancy Course (IPCC). 2. Non commerce graduate should have minimum of 60 percent marks. So it would depend on how much marks you have got in Bachelor of Commerce course. If you have 55 percent marks then it would be possible to take admission in Integrated Professional Competancy Course (IPCC), otherwise you will have to appear for CPT. CPT is short form for the Common Proficiency Test. This test is conducted twice a year to get admission for IPCC. This is first stage of Chartered Accountancy course. You will have to appear for the Common Proficiency Test. There are two groups in the test. Each group has 2 sections. In order to clear Common Proficiency Test, you will have to score minimum of 30 percent marks in each group of the Common Proficiency Test. The four sections are: 1. Fundamentals of Accountancy 2. Economics 3. Mercantile Law 4. Quantitative Aptitude Once you have cleared the test, you can take admission for the Integrated Professional Competancy Course. |

Re: Am I eligible to register for IPCC after graduating in B.Com?
Those who want to apply for Direct IPCC must satisfy the any one of the following criteria:
Graduation in Commerce with atleast 50% marks from a recognised University. OR Graduation in any other discipline with atleast 60% marks from a recognised University. Those having above qualification will be exempted from CPT and can directly apply for IPCC. If you don't fulfill above criteria then you have to appear for CPT(Common Proficiency Test) and after qualifying CPT you can apply for IPCC. In CPT you need 50% marks to qualify it. You can apply for IPCC through online application. The fee for CA IPCC/CA Final is as follows: CA Final Both Groups- Rs.2250 CA Final Single Group- Rs.1250 CA IPCC Both Group -Rs.1600 CA IPCC Single Group- Rs.1000 For more information visit http://icaiexam.icai.org/ |
