Yes Anna University takes admission through AIEEE and also through board marks. There are some few seats for AIEEE students so you can surely get in Anna University through AIEEE

If not then you have to score high in board exam as they consider board exam marks too for admission.

I am very sorry to say that there are no chances for entering Anna University with AIEEE marks.

Anna University Guindy Campus is one of the best colleges in the country.
The entry is through only the marks of class 12 exam.
Your cutoff only speaks.
The cutoff is calculated as

Maths/2 + (Physics+Chemistry)/4

You should have extremely high cutoff.
There are hundreds of student who score 200 - the maximum cutoff.

it is really confusing..one Sr member(MR chauan) is saying yes it is possible through AIEEE as there is a separate quota for it, whilst other user(vasanth dhoni) is saying there is no such quota and that only marks willbe taken.
will the anna university officials will clarify this clearly.is it possible for the forum to take up with anna university and get their replyposted onthe site.

ya you can get a seat in many top colleges under all India engineering entrance exam

the eligibility of this exam is pass 12th

it contains three sections

1.)physics

2.)chemistry

3.)maths(important part)

i can attach some recent papers of aieee

anna university offers admission only based on board marks and not on aieee rank basis.

AIEEE is dead - or at least, it has been reborn as JEE.
And Anna University looks only at your 12th board results PCM scores, not anything else. So whether you've written JEE or not does not matter, if you're applying to Anna, use your 12th Board marks.
This year's application process is over and currently it is midway into the admissions process called counselling at Anna Univ.
