Hi Sir ,

In IPCC their are 2 Group

Group I
Group II

Is that we need to take up both the Exams at a time or can we break up take it , If we can break it how many more months we have to wait for the exams for Group II , Pls let us know ?

sir can i go for group 2 first than group 1 exam? is there any problems by doing in that way???

IPCC stands for Integrated Professional Competence Course.

It is the second stage of CA course.

There is no limit of appearing in IPCC.

You can do this course if:-

1.You have qualified CPT.

2.You have completed your graduation with 55% if you are from Commerce stream.

There are two groups in IPCC:-

1.Group I.

2.Group II.

Group I contains 4 subjects while

Group II contains 3 subjects.

You can go for the next stage of articleship after qualifying Group I of IPCC.

You can appear for both the groups at one attempt or you can individually appear for both the groups.

To qualify IPCC,you should get 40% in each subject and overall 50%.

you can also clalim exception of getting 60 or more if failed.....

hello sir, i want to ask that how many times can i appear in ipcc exam? i have alredy appear in 5 attempts of ipcc but not passed only 2 subjects even i have passed accounts & costing but marks is below 60 or not geeting exemption .so pls tell me can i appear again? is the same registration is valid for next attempt or i' ll apply for the fresh registration?

i registered for ipcc on 16/8/2012 and may 2013 was my first attempt for both groups of ipcc.later in 2nd attempt i cleared my group 2 and now that the results are out my group 1 was remaining and this was my 4th attempt in which i scored exemption in tax so now i have only 3 subjects left.Since after registration four years is the validity period to clear both the groups , my last attempt would in 2016,am i rigth?

Sir I have registered on 09/07/2013 for cpt and cleared it. For ipc i register on 28/01/2014 for Nov 2014 exam but got failed. Now I want to give nov 15 exam. The total number of attempts for IPCC are not specific which means that you can write the exams any number of times you want.
There are 2 sets in IPCC exam and thus you must clear both the exams for which you can give unlimited number of exams.
Though attempts are not limited the registration for IPCC exam is valid for only a period of 4 years.
Upon the expiration of this you will have to pay 400 again and register again.

Registered ipcc with effect from 13th February,2013.can I attempt may(2017)exams of ipcc OR should i revalidate my registration

ICAI provide study materials when we are registering for IPCC. As exam is concerned firstly we should study with study materials for each subject. Thereafter do problems from practice manuel. If require we can refer other author's books for references. Before every exam ICAI conducts mock tests. By appearing for this exam we can check our preparations. Also ICAI issues Revision Test Papers ie RTPs. We can make use of the same.
