list of companies recruiting through gate 2012 in different sectors ?

my branch is Computer Engineering.For which companies should i apply with gate -2012???

Hi sir , myself belong to Mechanical department. i want the list of companies name who are going to recruit this year from gate score.Thank you.

i got 385 marks in gate and my stream is chemical . should i able to get and goverment job.
and please specify the company name..

i have recently completed my MSc in chemistry,last sem result awaited and i have cleared GATE in 2012 (all india rank=156).

Well dear gate is a very important exam as it is for admission in m.tech and for job.there are so many companies taking on the basis of gate rank

you should apply for gate exam first and you would get a registration number.you should provide this when apply for these companies.on the basis of gate score candidates are short listed and are called for gd and interview.if you qualify in that also then you are selected for the job.best of luck

truly said there are a lot of PSU companies hiring this year on the basis of GATE-2013 score(offline exam-10th Feb. |||| online exam-20th Jan) . The list of some of the companies opening their vacancies are as :
1. NALCO - 61 vacancies for ME, EE, IN, CE, CH, EC, Metallugry, Mining, Geology.
2. CONCOR - apply for the position of Management Trainee
3. PowerGrid - for EE stream . [CTC 12.67 Lakhs after training. 7 Lakhs during training.]
Eligibility - Full time BE.BTech in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering.
4. HPCL - 250 seats . The disciplines - Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication and Instrumentation. Remuneration Package - CTC: Rs 8.5 lakhs per annum after training and confirmation. Online Application on HPCL Website from 24th December, 2012.

Ive done BE in Mechanical, My aggregate is 54% and in the final year I scored 67%
please Help me with, if I score Good marks in The Gate exam Can I get job in PSU?
I checked eligibility criteria of many companies like BPCL,NTPC and they demand min 60% in the qualifying degree examination.
Is there any chance for a student like me to get Job in PSU through only gate score? if you know the companies please name it also.
Regards
