how many marks required for passing june cpt 2011 ? pls reply

Sir,plz tell d exact passing marks 4 cpt exam 2011...is it 100 or 120?? How much marks is required in each subject??m eagerly waitng 4 ur rply

THE exam pattern consists of 4 hours of two papers and each of 2 hours..

Syllabus

session I

Section A consists of Fundamental of Accounting of 60 marks

Section B consists of Mercentalie Law of 40 marks.

session II

Section A consists of General Economics of 50 marks

Section B consists of Quantitative of 50 marks.

you need to get at least 55% in overall session and 30% in each subject......to crack cpt..

The qualifying marks in CPT exam is 50% In each subject.

In previous year the marks required for passing the exam was 100 out of 200 but this year the marks has been quite increased now you will require 120 out of 200

So, if you have scored 50% Marks in all the papers together is required to qualify in the examination. The pass mark therefore would be 100 out of a total of 200 in all the papers together. So, please work hard, if you really interested to to clear this exams.

To clear this examination, you really need lots of practice, it was not easy exams, if you have work hard only then you will get sucess in this exams.

Passing marks for CPT exam in June 2011?

Common Proficiency Test (CPT) Includes

Accounting,
Mercantile Laws,
General Economics and
Quantitative Aptitude

Passing % :-

You Should score at-least 50% Overall Subjects to Crack CA-CPT.

Means In CA-CPT Pattern its of 200 Marks and To get Pass in this Exam you need to score at-least 100 Marks.

And yes Individual Marks also effects a lot you need to crack 30% in each Subject that means if a paper is of 50 marks then minimum Passing marks For this will be 15.


Note*

They do have Negative Marking for the same So be careful while attempting a question.

If you are Not sure then Do think afterwards after attempting known ones.

minimum 50% marks are required for crack CPT

60% for each subject

To pass in CPT exam atleast 100 marks require out of 200 marks for OBC and General category candidates,and for sc/st candidates 80 marks require.

My friend the exam will be for 200 marks and you have to score 50% that is 100 marks to clear it and remember that there is no rounding off in this exam,a point less and you are failed.
