After 12th in science with math. if you are better in math and want take it as your only carrer then go for BSC.
if you want fto in technical line then go for B.TECH...,BCA,
for management course you can choose BBA latter you can do MBA
and many more..

hello friend though your nephew is going to give 12th exam he has many opportunity to make his career.these are as follows
for engineering
1.... he can give indian institute of technology joint entrence exam which is going to held on 1st of april 2011.forms are available and last date to submit is 20th decamber and to regi.,the last date is 12th dec.thre are 17 iit's in india with alltype of engineering degrees.the admission based on merit list of iitjee .the package given to the iit graduate is quit high.youcan have many details from iit websit <iitd.ac.in> .younaphew can have bright career in iit.
2.........another optionis to give all india engineering entrence exam(aieee) in whichone can have best college for furthur degree.admission onbasis of entrence exam.online forms are available ,you can have all information about it at your nephew's education board site.like at <cbse.nic.in> for delhi.
3........ you can try for punjab universities in jalandhar. quiet good university.you can go to his site punjabuniversity.in


in engineering field thre must have lot of talent in a science student .plz do have admission in that field only in which your nephew have a deep interest . dont run behind most popular college orthe subjecthave more scope of earning if your ward do not have intrest in it.do identify your interest wether in macanical,electronics ,computer science,elecricity. information technology,quantum computers ,nano tech.,mine engeneering,software engineer,and much more

you can go in polytechnique for engineering but it will hardly help to have good package after graduation

Send him to the field in which he has interest. You can check his interest also. The engineering field is a good filed and have good scope and salaries mainly in the filed of electronics and computers.
He should prepare for the entrances like JEE, AIEEE to get admission in good colleges.
Btech/BE is the best option these days for PCM students.

Firstly you can go for AIEEE and IIT...these two test are very important for non-medical students...if you wish to become engineer then these two tests are very important to you....be prepare for these two tests...after that if you clear any of one of these two you get good government college to make your future and fulfill your dreams in field of engineering......

Well, you are in science with maths stream. Being a science student, you will look your scope in engineering field that you will get when you give AIEEE, IIT and other engineering exams. There is lot of scope in engineering field. Just prepare for those exams and Choose your discipline (Robotics/Aeronautics/Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science/etc.,) based on your interest.

While you need to be good in science and maths for pure science (B.Sc), you need to be really excellent in them for engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)...........i think you can go for b.tech or b.sc..................otherwise its totally depends on you .......

i think you can go with b.tech or b.sc. both the streams are very good according to their level .

b.com
b.tech
etc .
you can join any of them all the courses are sufficient to you . but final choice is your .so , good luck .

There are many options available after your 12th from PCM stream.
Some of the options for you are:-
1.B.Tech.
2.B.E.
3.Merchant Navy.
4.Hotel Management.
5.B.Sc.
6.BCA.
7.Aeronautics,etc.

So,you can opt for anyone as per your interests and future aim in life.
So,first analyse your skills and interests and then go for the suitable one according to you.
