Re: How to join Indian Navy?
Hi,
For joining in Indian Navy there are two common paths. They are 1. To appear in an exam conducted by UPSC named as NDA for 12th passed out candidates with science stream. 2. To appear in CDS exam conducted by UPSC for graduates. You have crossed the age limit of NDA exam which is 16.5 to 19. So you can go to second one. i.e. You can appear in CDS exam and join Navy for which age limit is 19 to 23. |

Re: How to join Indian Navy?
Merchant navy is one of the most prestigious careers available in India. It offers the candidates an opportunity to travel the world and have an adventurous filled work environment. There are many levels of entry for the merchant navy. As you are a +2 candidate, you can apply for the Deck Cadet. The basic eligibility required to join as a deck cadet is to have a +2 with more than 60% of marks in PCM. The candidate must also have studied English as a separate subject in +2. The age of the candidate must also be less than 20 years of age. The candidate must have perfect eyesight without any visual aid and must not be affected with color blindness. As you have only secured 58.8% +2 you may not be eligible for the Merchant navy.
