Friend to appear for sbi po exams it is the required eligibility to have 60 percent marks in your graduation for general candidates so you cannot appear in only after being a graduate. Yes, I agree as in other fields here there is tough competetion

which percentage of 12th they count ...PCM or all 5 subjects.

the criteria for SBI bank PO exam is u must have 60% throughout ur career..and some basic knowledege in computer..

As u have done well in ur 12th, then u just don't worry ...

after completion of ur Btech with 60% aggregate.. u can go for it.

Well generally large number of NAtionalised banks demad 60% aggregate in +2 while 55% in Graduation. And as you have mentioned your Graduation aggregate 59.73% so you there is nothing to worry.

However, some Private Banks like- ICICI, IDBI demads 60% aggegate i Graduation also.So there you will face problem otherwise not al all.

but sometimes sbi authority decreases this minimum marks.because of less number of students are applying for exams.

but you should score at least 65% in graduation so that you don't face any problem.

You have scored very well in your 10+2.
You must get at least 50% in 10+2 or diploma after 10th, you have scored quite higher marks than required.
So no worries about that.

Now in B.com you have to score at least 55% in all your semesters then and then only you will be eligible for giving PO exam for SBI.

For SC/ST/PH there is relaxation in both aggregate 5% as well as age of up to 5 years.

Your 12 the score is awesome ,but for getting into the sbi bank po exam you must have minimum 60% marks in graduation...

Then only you will be eligible to sit for the exam.So study hard and score more good marks then 12th class..

for PO post you have to score minimun 60% in your graduation.But if you have post graduaion then oyur marks will be minimum 55%. I think you are eligible as you have 60% marks in your post graduation

your aggregate marks are considered instead of PCM so do not worry.

you need to score in 12th 60% and graduation 55% there is relaxation for reserve - 12th 55% and graduation -50%
and for qualify you must have good English and quantity aptitude.

No you are not eligible for the bank PO exam.

As it requires:

at least 60? marks in graduation
or
at least 55% marks in post graduation.

then you are eligible either not

for general and obc it is 60%
and for sc/st it 55%
you see where are you accordingly you can calculate

to appear in the exam of bank PO, the marks criteria is related with the marks of graduation,not with the marks of +2.In graduation your marks must be greater than equal to 60% if you belong from general category.So, do not worry and try to get marks above than 60% in graduation and appear in the exam of PO with full confidence.I wish you will get success.

For general category Bank clerical exam requires atleast 60% in graduation
For reserned category Bank clerical exam requires atleast 55% in graduaion

Even after discussion the eligibility criterias for several times, aspirants doesn't satisfied with it. So I had prepared a short list of some famous Banks and qouted out the eligibility criteria's for 'PO' exams.

RBI PO Exam

Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate with at least 60% aggregate, OR must have MAster dergee with at least 55% aggregate, OR must have PGDM/MBA/P.hd with at least 50% aggregate OR CA/ACS etc.

Age Limit: 21 - 30 years.

SBI PO Exam

Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate with at least 60% aggregate. The percentage of marks in fraction will not be rounded up on higher side (i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%).

Age Limit: 21 - 30 years.

Syndicate Bank PO Exam

Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate with at least 55% aggregate. Even CA/ICWA/CS etc. also required at least 55% aggregate.

Candidate must be a graduate with at least 60% aggregate.

Age Limit: 21 - 30 years.

Indian Bank PO Exam

Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a graduate with at least 55% aggregate. Even CA/ICWA/CS etc. also required at least 55% aggregate.

Age Limit: 21 - 30 years.

NOTE: 1)There is relaxation for 5% in every Bank Exam eiligibility criteria.

2)The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the mark obtained
by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester/year(s) by aggregate
maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honours / optional /
additional optional subject, if any. This will be applicable for those
Universities also where Rank / Class / Grade is decided on basis of Honours
marks only.

No for sbi PO you need to have 60 % marks in your graduation.
Some more banks like bank of india, indian overseas bank ask for 60% in graduation, where as others like uco, unioin bank, oriental bank etc ask for 55% in graduation for general category students.
your age should be 21 -30 years

Sbi is one of the reputed public sector bank.
Foe both clerk or PO vacancy you need to have 60% in your 12 and graduation for PO and 60% in 12 for clerical post.
you should be 18-28 years of age for clerk in general category.
For PO your minimum age should be 21 and maximum 30 years in general category

Since your from reserved category i.e SC/ST you just need to have a minimum of 60% in your graduation level in all your semesters to get through the Bank examination.

As you have a good percentage in your 12th so there's nothing to worry about.
Try to score well in B.com so that you get eligible for Bank tests and go for other such opportunities.

The minimum educational qualification required for appearing in SBI PO exam is as follows:

General category and others category - 60% aggregate marks in XIIth standard or in Diploma after Xth standard; and 55% aggregate marks in Graduation.

SC/ST/PWD category - 55% aggregate marks in XIIth standard or in Diploma after Xth standard; and 50% aggregate marks in Graduation.

So you need to score at least 60% marks in graduation if you belong to reserved category for appearing in SBI PO exam.
