Eyesight parameters for indian navy and indian army are same.

EYESIGHT PARAMETERS :

Both requires 6/6 and you should not have any color blindness.

define eye parametres as a sailor in navy

my right eye 6/18and left eye 6/6 but my right eye has microtropical squint which is very minor but the vision in right eye cant be corrected am i eligible for indian army?

I m in class 11th right now.
nd i m experiencing a little blurness while seeing far away objects.
i whole heartedly want to join air force.
what shoud i do then?
its very little blurness.

i am having myopia 0.5 am i eligible for air force nda entry

yeah man u r fine for army but make sure not to increase ur power more as u will become unfit for army.

Sir, I am in the merit list of TES. Underwent first medical board got TR due to slight overweight and colour blindness. Appearing for Appeal Medical Board. Rest is fine except for colour blindness. Should I go for Review Medical Board. Have done NCC C Certificate, stood 4th. rank in RD, was all India topper in 2008 RD ( junior division NCC)

1.Age Limit - 19-24 years.

2.Educational Qualification - 60 % aggregate in B.E/B.Tech in any of the AICTE approved college.

3.Eye Sight - 6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.

Its good that you want to join indian army, I want to tell you that LASIK surgery is accepted in indian army(except NDA entry) only if you have attained the age of 20 yrs at the time of surgery.
The time required between surgery and reporting is 6 months

I have been called for SSB interview SSC (TECH): DEC 2012 COURSE IN THE NAVY. I hope that I have the qualities to join in armed forces but my concern is my eye sight. My Age is 24 and I had undergone lasik surgery at the age of 21. I had the problem of myopic astigmatism which was corrected in the surgery(BE LA ZYOPTIX).
Right Eye %u2013 3.25/-1.25×87
Left eye %u2013 4.00/-0.75×89.
Now my vision is good but I would like to know whether I could clear medical test or not. Kindly clarify my doubt at the earliest as I have to be there in the first week of June%u201912.
