It is not difficult to achieve and Nothing Is Impossible, If You Work Hard And Put Your Extra Efforts, Then Definitely You Will Crack The IAS Examination.

For cracking to IAS exam is not important u r average student.
If you are avg. student so more important neither week nor brilliant.
If you work hard and having a practice you can every thing achieve who you want.

because you are now studying in 12th so you have a enough time to prepare to IAS exam.
after engineering u can also give IAS AND IES exam and become a offficer. so go ahead a achieve

any one can crack IAS .you just have to prepare very hard for it as this is the one of the

most toughest exam in india because competition is very much in it.The Union Public

Service Commission (UPSC) conducts a nation wide exam every year to select the best

candidates for different cadres of public administration. General Studies (GS) has to be

prepared on quite a different plane . Traditionally, 10 + 2 level books of NCERT or any

state education board had been covering a major part of the content but, these days,

the items in news during the last one year or so, are being asked quite frequently.

i'm inservice candidate ;but have big dream to crack it.i dont have a good access to get the material

(300+300) = 600 marks
paper6,7,8,9: any two subjects out of 25 prescribed
subjects and having 2 papers each

Yes anyone who is determined to crack the exam can do it but following things are taken care of:
1.Never skip your preparation do it daily.
2.Read newspaper daily to get equipped with general awareness.
3.Listen to news channel too.
4.Study geography,history,science books of cbse from class 6th till 10th.
5.Prepare your aptitude from RS aggarwal
6.Chose your optionals very carefully conisdering they help to gain good marks.

You took it wrong actually. It is not like that only brilliant students can clear the exam and IAS is made for those people only. It is totally wrong. Ya i agree that exam is tough but let me tell you that it is even more tough if you do not prepare it with a good strategy. If you keep on thinking negative them you are not gonna clear the exam and be positive and prepare for the exam.


The thing that matters in Exams like IAS is real preparation, dedication, problem handling skills and most important determination. If you lock yourself in a room with tons of books and prepare well then you can surely clear the exam but if you keep on thinking that exam is tough and i can not do that then let me tell you that you are not gonna clear it. You should face the challenge and show the world that you exist. Prepare all the subjects and never think of failure, just keep one thing in mind that i want to top the exam and i am sure whenever you start feeling like this you gonna rock the exam.

IAS entrance exam is not so much difficult as you thought.

It is not necessary that a brillient student will pass IAS exam an average student can pass IAS entrance exam.

If you are not a brillient student then there is no need to vorry you can pass IAS entrance exam.


To pass IAS entrance exam it is required to study hard you should cover all syllabus of IAS entrance exam.

I will advise you to improve your english which help you much at the time of interview.

yes friend, there is nothing like that only bright students can crack the IAS exam. there are a hundreds of stories of the people who have cleared the IAS exam inspite of all the worse conditions. For clearing the IAS exam, you just require one thinh, that is, hard work.
If you’re capable enough of studying 2 years with complete dedication for your goal without any distraction, you can clear the IAS exam.

I have just given boards and my resulats are nt gud...its jst 76 %
i have gr8 interest in english n got highest marks in english....I had PCBM as well as Informatics Practices....as acc to my percntage MBBS oe engg is nt a option...what else i can do??
