Re: After passing 12th Commerce with 60 percent marks can I apply for Bank Clerk exam? Apart from 12th what else is required?
Let me make you clear about all the eligibility criteria about the exam you want to target-
1. You have to complete intermediate from recognized board or university to be eligible to apply. 2. You must secure a minimum of 60% marks in the intermediate. 3. If a candidate has passed 10th and now want to appear for the exam then he needs to pursue a 3-year diploma course instead of intermediate. This of course makes no sense because one year is getting waste. 4. Even if the candidate chooses to do diploma then he/she needs to have minimum percentage of 40%. There is also age criteria which is as follows- - Minimum age limit- 18 years - maximum age limit- 28 years. But again, since you have just passed 10th so by 2017, you may very well fall within the age limits. SO, definitely you can apply. |

Banking sector has lots pf career opportunities for candidates of different discipline. There are several vacancies for posts of clerk, probationary officer, specialist officer etc. The qualification required to appear for any banking examination is bachelor's degree either it is for clerk or PO.
At present after 10+2, you are not eligible for any entrance exam of bank for clerk. You must do bachelor's degree first then only you can apply for exams like IBPS CWE, PO or specialist officer exam. If you are graduate and minimum age of 20 years then you can apply for IBPS Clerk and PO both. |
