Respected sir,can i get addmition in direct 2nd year after diploma in civil engineering branch.if yes,how many %age required .i score 85% in diploma final year.

Yes, candidate passed diploma degree from any recognised university are eligible for the admission in 2nd year of B.Tech/B.E course.

To get the admission in government or reputed private university candidates have to qualify in LEET (Lateral Entry Entrance Test). The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed diploma from any recognised university.

Candidate must have minimum 60% in diploma course.

So, you can appear for entrance examination and after qualifying in it eligible for admission in 2nd year of four year duration course.Some of the universities which conducts entrance examination for admission are :-

Yes, you can get direct admission in second year of Engineering course after completion of your Diploma in Civil Engineering course from an AICTE approved institution.

To get direct admission in second year of Engineering course, you have to appear in Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) or Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) conducted by your respective state technical board of education.

If you qualify the entrance examination, you will be called for Certificate Verification and Web Options entry according to your examination rank which is known as Counselling process. Once, you have participated in counselling process, based on your examination rank, you will be allotted a seat in the college which you are eligible to get direct admission in second year of Engineering course.
