Age limit for CSAT Prelims 2016
Well my date of birth is 19th September 1995. Can I attempt the csat prelims 2016? please tell me age limit doubt for cse 2016.

CSAT stands for the Civil Services Aptitude Test. Actually it is the second paper of Civil Services Preliminary examination. First paper is the General Studies Paper. CSAT from 2015 is made qualifying paper, candidate must score only 33% to qualify this paper.
The minimum age limit to appear for the Civil Services exam is 21 years on the 1st August of year of examination. As per your date of birth which is 19th September, 1995, you will attain the age of 21 years on 19th September, 2016. So, you are not eligible for the Civil Services exam 2016. |

Sorry, you are not eligible to appear for the CSAT in the 2016 examination as according to the notification.
The eligibility to appear for the examination conducted by the UPSC is candidates must have passed the graduation from the recognised university and the age between the 21-32 years as on the 1st August of year of appearing for the examination. So you need to prepare for the examination to appear in the examination in the 2017. |

The age criteria for the Civil Services examination 2016 is as below:
>>Candidate must have completed the minimum age of 21 years on the 1st August of year of examination. Upper age limit for candidates of different category is: 1. General category: 32 years. 2. OBC candidates: 35 years. 3. SC/ST candidates: 37 years. Your date of birth is 19/09/1995, so you will complete your 21 years on 19/09/2016. You can not apply for the CSE 2016. |

CSAT stands for Civil Services Aptitude Test and it is also known as Civil Services Preliminary Test. It is the screening test for Civil Services Mains examination which is further followed by Personality Assessment Test and is known as Civil Services examination as a whole.
Civil Services Examination is held once every year by Union Public Service Commission for the recruitment of personnel at the highest administrative posts. The eligibility criteria for the civil services examination 2016 are as here under :- * You must have the nationality of India. * Your age must be within 21 years to 32 years by the 1st August of that year in which you are appearing in the same in case you belong to general.category otherwise there is provision of age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. * You must have either completed your bachelor degree course or must be in the final year of same with any stream of your choice from a recognized university. The notification for CSAT 2016 has been released and the examination is going to be held on 7th August 2016 for which the application form will be made available on the official link of UPSC during the period of 23rd April 2016 to 20th May 2016. No.You are not eligible for CSAT 2016 as you will not completed 21 years on 1st August 2016.If you are interested for CSAT , then you can prepare well for CSAT & can apply for CSAT 2017.

Yes of course you can attend the csat exam if you have completed your bachelor degree course.
Csat is civil service aptitude test.This is basically first stage of Civil Service examination.This examination is conducted by the Upsc every year in the following three stages:- 1. Preliminary (CSAT). 2. Mains. 3. Interview. The basic eligibility criteria for appearing in this exam is, to have a minimum bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university with good percentile. Aslo the appearing aspirant's age must lie in between 21 years to 32 years.For the SC/ST the age must be in between 21 years to 37 years.For the Obc category aspirants it is 21 years to 35 years. As your D.O.B of 1995 then it means your age on 2016 will be 21 years so definitely you can appear in this exam. |

CSAT means Civil Services Aptitude Test. It is entrance exam for civil services like
IAS IPS Age limit is given below For General category : 21-32 years of age For OBC category : 21-35 years of age For SC or ST category : 21-37 years of age. So, depending upon the category or caste of the students, the age limit is varied. Just check you category and upto that age, you can write this CSAT Exam |
