Can you please tell me about KAS and age limit for KAS.

Hi,
KAS Exams are conducted in the lines of UPSCs IAS Exams. There will be 3 levels of Exams conducted. Except a 300 Marks Essay writing in IAS, Most of the methods, guidelines and procedures used in IAS are used in KAS also.

Minimum age is 18 & max age is 33 for general

Eligibility :

Candidates must have obtained Degree from any recognized University in India. Final
Year/ Semester Degree Students can also apply for the prelims exam provided they
submit Degree Certificate during the main exam.

Age Limit :

GM age between 21 - 35 Years
2A/2B/3A/3B age between 21 - 38 Years
SC/ST/ age between 21 - 40 Years

Any person who holds good command in both Kannada & English Langauage, who is a degree holder, and within the age limit of 30 can take up this KAS exam.

Age Limit for KAS:

Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years

For General : Maximum 35 Years

For OBC : Maximum 38 Years

For SC/ST : Maximum 40 Years


Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed any degree.

Students studying in final Year/Semester of their degree can also apply for the exam provided they must produce the marks card at the time of main exams.

General Category candidates can attempt for maximum 5 times and OBC category candidates for maximum 7 times and SC/SC can write any number of times.

For Clerk Grade Examination -

• Your Age Should Between 18 To 35 Years.

For Gazetted Probationers Examination -

• Your Age Should Between 21 To 30 Years.
• And You Have To Complete Your Graduation From The Recognised Colleges.

For Assistant Conservator of Forests Examination -

• Your Age Should Between 19 To 30 Years.

For Ministerial Staff Competitive Examination -

• Your Age Should Between 18 To 35 Years.

Age Relaxation Is Only Applicable For SC/ST/BT/BC Candidates.



For SC/ST Candidates - 5 Year Relaxation Is Applicable.

For Physically Handicapped - 10 Year Age Reaxation.

Eligibility criteria for KAS exam:

Candidate shoute be complete his/her graduation from any recognised university.

Final year candidates may also be eligible to apply for this exam.

Candidate should be a citizen of india

Age criteria:

Candidates should be in between 18 years and 35 years.

3years age relaxation for the OBC candidates,

5years age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates.
