Respected Sir, I passed 12th with Arts stram scoring 58% marks and completed Bombay Art with A Degree but in Graduation I got 49% marks so I want to know am I eligible to apply for TGT if I scored 49% marks in Graduation? Please answer as soon as possible. Sir please reply on urgent because I want to apply form.

TGT stands for Traiend Graduate Teacher. For this examination candidate must have passed graduation from a recognized university. The minimum percentage required in graduation for TGT examination is 50%. The minimum age of candidate must be 21 years. As per my knowledge, you are not eligible to apply for TGT after scored 49% marks in Graduation.

For applying for Trained Graduate Teacher you have to do B.A and B.ED both and for doing B.ED you have to complete your graduation with minimum of 50% marks. But in case if you are from reserved category then you can get 5% relaxation in marks and you can apply for B.ED course and after completion of your B.ED you can apply for TGT post. Thanks

You are not eligible for TGT course.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree with B.Ed course are eligible for PGT course.

Your age should be above 18 years.

I have done graduation with 49.63 percentage and b.ed with 57 percentage but in concerned subject got 50 percentage in graduation in last year i.e 3rd year of graduation and eligible to apply for tgt which begins 24 august 2018

there is 5% mark relaxation for sc/st candidates for applying CTET but why there is no provision for marks relaxation in KVS ,NVS(50% is needed for applying) for reserved categories when applying for TGT PRT jobs ? what will happen to the candidates who will qualify CTET despite having below 50%? I don't understand the logic of marks relaxation here.Anyone please clarify.

Yes why KVS and NVS recruitment does not give relaxation for reserve category in terms of their percentile? What will happen to those who have qualified CTET having 45% in HS and Graduation.
