I am sorry.NTPC recruits though GATE.
SO if you have a goal of working in NTPC you have to appear for the exam i.e. GATE. But since this year exam has been passed, you have ample time to prepare for the next year. Also, if you prepare sincerely then you will be able to score sufficient to get yourself placed in NTPC. Regarding the previous year papers of GATE exam some of the books I am providing below. you can consider them-
