Am I eligible for SET exam after doing M.A in Sociology from IGNOU?
i am doing M.A in sociology from IGNOU.i have honours in Anthropology.Am i eligible for SET exam?

The SET exam is conducted for maintaining the uniform standard for graduate as well as post graduate teaching for lecturers.
Interested candidates should have Master's Degree with at least 55% marks are eligible for the test. Incase of SC/ST/PH/VH (PH-Physically Handicapped. VH-Visually Handicapped i.e. Blind) category candidates, they should have 50% marks in Master's. Candidates can appear for SET in the subject of their Post Graduation only. There is no age limit issue in SET exam. |
