Teacher, I have got a 541 marks in 12 the class, but I got 72/150 in Physics, 141/300 in Biology and 83/150 in practicals. I am an OBC candidate. So, tell me that whether I am eligible for NEET exam or not?

To appear in NEET examination the eligibility criteria is :-

Candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th with a recognised board.

Candidate must have Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main paper.

Candidate must have scored minimum 50% in 12th.

The minimum age limit to appear in examination is 17 years. So, if you have above required qualification then you are eligible to appear in NEET examination which is conducted by CBSE.

MBBS refers to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and same degree course is a professional bachelor degree course after pursuing which one heads towards becoming a doctor.

As far as you are concerned about the eligibility for pursuing MBBS degree course then for your information I would like to let you know that for pursuing MBBS you need to qualify NEET ( National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) or AIIMS MBBS entrance examination and for appearing in these examinations you need to have completed your Class 12th with PCB group with at least 50% ( or 60% in case of AIIMS MBBS entrance examination) from a recognized board. Marks relaxation of 10% is applicable for reserved category candidates.

So as far as you are concerned about your eligibility for pursuing MBBS course on the basis of marks secured in Physics paper then I would like to let you know that the eligibility for MBBS is based on the overall marks secured in Class 12th as mentioned above rather than the marks secured in a particular subject.
