Is there any scope for MBA after btech in electronics $communication?

By pursuing a course in MBA you will be basically looking for an administrative role. There are various areas in which you can pursue an MBA. Select based on the kind of career you plan to pursue.

Yes there is a good scope for MBA.
If you want to pursue your MBA from foreign universities then take GMAT test.

If you want to study in India then take CAT test in order to get into reputed institutes like ISB and IIM's etc.

You can also appear for your state's PG entrance test like PGCET etc. and get admission in universities or institutes in your state.

But I personally suggest you to take CAT and GMAT tests and do your MBA from reputed institutes. It would be helpful for you.

After completion of MBA, a wide range of jobs and career prospective are available in the industrial sector.

One can easily get jobs of Managerial or executive level after successfully completing their MBA degree.

This job acts as the first step of the ladder of success, after which one can reach to the top most position.

With growing number of companies and rapid industrialization, the scope of MBA is increasing every single day.

I have done my engineering in Electronic's & Instrumentation & i have 2 year Experience as Sales Engineer now i want 2 go for part time M.B.A in Marketing what will be my career after completion on M.B.A I want 2 make my career i marketing what type of job should i do while doing M.B.A R&D/Production or Sales/Marketing.

I have done engineering in Electronics and communication From Visveswaraya technological university with aggregate 71% in al the semester in 2010. I have got a MBA seat in Alliance business academy in Bangalore.I want to know which companies are best suited for my career. But i have a strong desire to work for some electronic based companies. there are many colleges now in india but i would suggest you to go for cat
or gmat there are many colleges under this exams
so try to clear them witg good marks

i am sagar gohel from bhavnagar(gujrat) and in electronics & communication engineering in 6th semester from gtu university,my question is what r the scope for electronics & communication engineers in future and which part time cources(for E&C engineering) which can completed in vacation time(in 1 or 2 months) r help full for me to get job easily related to my field....

Whatever the branch you have studied MBA is a nice course after B.tech. it has lot of scope nowadays in administrating section.

It is sure that there is good scope of doing MBA after B.Tech with Electronics and communication or B.tech with any other specialization.

The reason for this is these candidates they are good at technical skills or skills in their core subject because of their foundation in B.Tech and they are also good at their managerial skills which they can acquire through MBA.

These people now a days are being sold as hot cakes.

You can find jobs in some public sector companies like ISRO or BED etc. Try to apply for these public sector jobs. But what is required to get the job in such companies will be communication skills which play a major role from interview perspective.

Just doing MBA for the sake of certificate will not fetch you anything. By the you complete your MBA, you should be good at
-soft skills
-communication skills
-managing capabilities
-future trends in Indian business

Try to get admission in B-schools so that there is so much of value for your certificate and you can find a good employment opportunity.

i am doing my b tech in electronics and communication..i am realy confused whether to do mba or m tech after btech .when asked for guidance i get all mixed opinions.as i am not realy a technical person ,i was thinking of doing mba.but i am told that most electronic engineers work in IT sectors and there they prefer electronic engineers with mtech not mba.this confused me more..i request your guidance.

If you are interested in going in the management part of the company then it is better for you to do your MBA.you can also do your M.TECH if you want to gain more knowledge in the same field and will be helpful for you to go in the same field which will be an advantage for you.The option is yours and depends on your interest.

After B.Tech you can join the M.B.A course it will help in getting job good job in future.

For admissions in top college you have to pass the exam like CA.T, M.A.T etc.

M.B.A stand for Master of Business Administration.
You can do M.B.A after completing B.Tech course with 50% Marks.
It will help you in future.

For admissions in top college you have to qualify Common Admission Test exam.
Common Admission Test is conducted by Indian Institute of Management.

Some top M.B.A college in which you can take admissions are:-

XLRI - Xavier Labour Research Institute, Jamshedpur

.Tech alone is sufficient to get a job.
If you want to be a lecturer for B.tech students then you can do M.Tech.
duration of M.Tech is 2 years.

MBA and MCA are also good if you want to be in some company.

if you have good percentage in B.tech then you don;t have need to do anyything else

You can go with the MBA after your B.tech through CAT.


As you are related to electronics branch in b.tech you can't go with the MCA as MCA is related to computer science.

After completion of B.tech in electronics and communication stream you can go for MBA course.

MBA course is very much job prospective.. You can get huge job opportunity after completion of MBA course.

To get admission in MBA course you have to qualify in entrance exams like-

see in todays competitive world there is no place for percentages but talent
if you have the subject and enough talent you are bound to succeed in life so keep that aside
as far as the IIMs are concerned we need to satisfy the following criteria
>must be above 21 years
>must have a bachelors degree from a reputed institution

see it depends on college to college and may vary with it
some colleges prefer 60 % whereas some prefer 50-55%
so dear friend if you have anything above 60 % you may give a try and dont be discouraged if you cant make it
try again and again until you suceed.

Don't worry about that.After completion of btech/in final year you can go for CAT exam.If you get good percentile in that and if IIM invites you it's the turning point in your life.But CAT exam is the most difficult exam compared to all competitive exams.But nothing is impossible if we try.So prepare for that.Syllabus is Quantative ability and verbal ability.If you have grip in english language you can crack the CAT exam..
