The Educational Qualification required for NET exam is masters degree .Your masters degree marks must be above 55% . 5% marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST category.

There is a age criteria for Junior Research Fellowship .Your age should be below 28 years old. Age relaxation unto 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD / OBC .For the post of Lectureship , There is no upper age limit .

NET stands for National Eligibility Test

A candidate who have completed their Post Graduation degree/Master Degree in any Discipline 55% marks are eligible for applying this Examination.....

There is no any Age Criteria for applying Lectureship Post but for Junior Research Fellowship Post age not Exist 28 years this exam.....

Nationality of candidate must be INDIAN.....

There are two levels of exams for which you can apply through UGC-NET Exam.These are :-
~JRF(Junior Research Scholarship).
~Lecturership.

Academic qualification :-
~To appear in this exam,you should have a Post Graduation degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Application from recognized university.

Marks :-
~If you are from General/OBC Category then 55% marks required in Post Graduation degree.
~If you belong from the SC/ST Category then minimum marks required is 50% in Post Graduation.

Age requirement :-

~For Lectureship - No age bar.
