How 2 prepare effectively for the PMT exam,so that everything can be retained in our memory?

You should concentrate on what you are studying.
You should make your base strong.
You should take some time apart for physical activities.
You should study in a cool-minded way.
Remember that not the time you spend but your attention is more necessary for any exam.

PMT is a difficult exam when it comes to amount of course and i can well understand your problem.
The best way to get a good ranking is that you study the topics well. Memorizing will land you nowhere. So it is better that you write down each topic so that it remains in your memory longer. It is a very effective technique and most people do the same.
Also it would be better if you take help of your friends or family members in a way that you say out the topics you learnt aloud and they read the same from the book to correct your faults if any.

A calm and peaceful mind can retain and recollect maximum memory. On the contrary worrying and doubtful mind can decrease the chances to qualify in any examination.

There are some tips during the examination and no doubt will increase your efficiency:-
1. excercise:-A mild excercise(walking/jogging/yoga) of 30mins release hormons which are responsible for relaxing the body and mind and happiness.
2. Whenver you feel stress lie down/sit with eye close for 5-10 mins.
3. Positive thoughts.like relax yourself its only a test and nobody is parfect.
4. Dont compromise your sleep(6-8hrs)
5.Suddenly before exam dont take up new topics which you forgot to study.
6.Making a routine of study every day and sticking to it, will increase confidence.

Its not about retaining everything in memory. Its about how well you understand the concepts. It wont help much if you just mug the concepts and vomit it on the answer paper. If you are used to it then let me tell you my friend this technique wont work for AIPMT exam.

AIPMT is designed in such a way that it extracts the best out of a students. The questions are not straight forward. The questions are very intriguing and concept application is the only way to get through it.

Some tips for preparation for AIPMT exam:

AIPMT consists only theory matter so I would advice you to study the matter well in advance and avoid last minute cramming. It wont do much good.

Refer good books which are recommended for the exam like

Physics : HC Verma, Moderns ABC, Arihant Objective books
Chemistry: P Bahadur, OP Tondon, Arihant, Moderns ABC, Most important NCERT
Biology: NCERT(Important), Moderns ABC and Arihant

These books are more than sufficient to crack the exam.

You can even buy PET success shortcut books which contain short important points which are a good way for last minute reference.

If you want to understand the concept. Try to read it again and again and then write it. Reading and writing is the only way to memorize the matter

you are preparing for AIPMT,you are not going to Write the junior class exam where student can mug-up the question and answer those questions according to their memory.

The best way to Prepare Entrance Exam is to do some planing and according to your planing do it actually.

-The first thing is consistency in study on Regular basis.

-Use the book which you understand easily and don't bother about the publication.

-Don't study till late night,wake in the morning and revise your already studied chapters.

-Do some Regular physical work ....like walking

-Equal study to all the subjects.


These are some tips if you follow definitely you are able to crack the AIPMT..

You need to do really work very hard for this.To break the entrance of this exam is not easy.You should learnt of all basic of all the subjects.You can take coaching somewhere for preparation of this exam.The best way to memories the thing is you should learnt all things by writing them.

Dear friend,
I will suggest you to read your study meterials very clearly and also clear your basic and fundamental concepts.
practice some previous year papers and model papers...

all subject are not interesting to all
now even in med school i face such things.
the solution to almost every problem is dicussion.
either u do it by doing in group studies
u should be a good listener.
study in a oriented way.
discuss what u study wid ur friends.
practice mcq as much u can
competitive examsr about ur speed ur reflex those 3 hours.

AIPMT is considered little tough to crack .you just can't think to crack AIPMT by just memorizing some chapters but you need basic concepts because question are not just straight forward.

It is impossible to crack this exam by studying just last one or two month .you will have to study whole year with consistency .there is no any special method to memorize the things.
just keep practicing .if you will practice then definitely you will memorize all the things with comfort.

try to make a paper notes of all important topics and paste it on the front wall of your bed so that you can see that everytime.

there are some books you must follow for getting sucess in this very exam :
(1)PHYSICS-HC verma, NCERT,ARIHANT objective.

(2)CHEMISTRY-NCERT,P BAHADUR, O.P TONDON

(3)BIOLOGY-NCERT,MODERN ABC

Read and write regularly to memorize the things .just don't go for memorizing the things but try to build the concept. try to attach the things with real world object to memorize the things.

i have just 2 months for the aipmt preliminary exam and i have not yet started to learn.please suggest a way that i can prepare well within 2months..

see in your final weeks you just solve the model test papers and previous years questions and just for 2 or 3 hours go through your ncert pcb.
